Cannot believe he didn't pass it there though, Anderson screaming for it and he had his back to goal!

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th new manager

I love his professionalism already.Taking a hands on approach to preseason, inspecting the facilities and talking of how the youth team must play the same style as the first team are all great signs. The way he talks is a breath of fresh air and I really hope he can turn the club around. This! Coul...

Re: Declan Rice

Ireland playing him smacks of desperation, claim him before he matures. They really do need to get rid of the grandparents rule, it seems unfair that a bunch of English players should prevent actual Irish born players getting their chance. It would make more sense to let the youngsters develop thei...

Re: Wigan Athletic v West Ham Utd: FA Cup 4th rnd match thread

I'd probably like to go with Hart Byram - Collins - Burke - Cresswell Rice - Noble - Cullen Ayew - Martinez - Habsanovick Could have Hernandez from the start but Martinez looked like a good presser so that would work well. Fast passing on the ball rather than the over the top from defenders to attac...

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend

I love the guy, and think he has been worth a call up in the past, and if he carries on & stays fit will deserve one in March. But there's a loud part of our supporters base that loudly doesn't rate him so it's no wonder he doesn't get the plaudits and respect he deserves from people away from t...

Re: England’s no.1 this summer

Pickford for me 100%, but i imagine Southgate will go with Hart and it will be the last time Hart will be number one, as it won't go too well and Pickford will become number one. Same as when Hart should have been number one over James or whoever it was before. Dont see how Forster comes close. Terr...

Fitzrovia Tavern on Charlotte Street became the place I'd meet up with friends when central last year. Probably my favourite pub, along with the Princess Louise. Love a Sam Smiths

Re: January transfer window

I see it as a catch 22. We are in trouble. We need to grind out points right now. Tottenham was the perfect example. They destroyed other teams in our situation, but we set up well and handled it, and almost got away with three points. Hernandez can't play that way though. So we either a) set up so...

Re: Manuel Lanzini

Think Lanzini is one of our most important players in the games like the last two, when we have aour backs against the wall. the two assists show he can set up goals when in the final third but when we are trying to play out he's always the first player the other players look to pass to, and he's us...

Re: Andy Carroll

I couldnt understand his insistance on being outside the box.
When the ball is wide he's out there, then not busting a gut trying to get into the box. Did he sprint at all during the game?
When the ball is central Kayoute is playing CF and Carroll is playing behind him.

Don't understand it at all

Re: Manuel Lanzini

Of course, this may change in the future, but the effort the top players put in is incomparable. He wouldnt last five minutes in a Conte, Pocchettino, Guardiola or klopp side, without seriously increasing his work rate I imagine with the influence of a great manager, they'd inspire the extra work l...

perfect game to bring some match fitness back to some of our good squad players who will always be just an injury or (in Byram/Zab's case) a suspension away from being put into our starting 11. Adrian Byram - Kouyate - Fonte - Ogbonnor - Arthur Rice - Noble Ayew - Arnie Sakho If we are are doing wel...
