Re: ⚽ Cardiff City v West Ham Utd (9/3)
They can't kick us if we're not their. Keep on with the passing and moving game. Let them give away free kicks and bookings. As all the players and the management keep going on about big team mentality you wouldn't see Liverpool or Man C resting on their morals to play Cardiff and we shouldn't eithe...

Re: ⚽ Cardiff City v West Ham Utd (9/3)
Same team as Newcastle (injuries permitting) I think we looked solid in defence and fluid in attack, no need for changes in my eyes.

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Newcastle Utd: match thread (3/2)
Very professional home performance from us. Everyone contributed but both centre halves, Rice, Lanzini, Snodders and Chicha were stand outs for me. Honourable mention to both full backs too, been hard on Masuaku but he did well when he came on which was nice to see. Now lets try to be unlike west ha...

Re: Angelo Ogbonna
This guy has always gotten stick when coming back into the team. To me he is a player who needs to play week in week out and needs time to settle to show his worth. Players like James Collins and Winston Reid will go into a team and make copious amounts of headers and last ditch tackles which makes ...

Re: ⚽ Manchester City v West Ham Utd: match thread (27/02)
If we would have won that game 1-0 with that penalty decision all you would here about was how it wasn't a penalty. These commentators tried to hide the fact that the city player dived and cheated to win a game which was decided by one goal. Hernandez handballs it we win 3-1 and it's all you hear. W...

Re: ⚽ Manchester City v West Ham Utd: match thread (27/02)
Funny one this, i'm far from expecting a result let alone a win but i'm excited for the game. Past few years (Payet season aside) I never get up for these but with Pellegrini in charge I am still excited to watch knowing that we will at least try and score a few goals (even if we don't). As much i ...

Re: Javier Hernandez Signs
Agree with that CNR, most of our best attacking moments are when he's on the pitch whether he is directly involved or not he gives good players something they thrive off (space).
Hope we see him starting between now and the end of the season.

Re: Javier Hernandez Signs
He will always get stick because of the way he plays but he's so important for me. If you really dissect his game he really offers so much off the ball in an attacking sense he plays a massive part in goals without having to touch the ball, score the goal or make the assist. Think we've looked very ...

Re: Michail Antonio
Happy to write with my tail between my legs, i've been highly critical of him but have to stay as all good professionals he's got his head down arse up and grafted. He looks lean and fit and it performing well. Still frustrates the crap out of me, cant remember the last time he hit the target with a...

Re: Jan Transfer Window 18/19
watching wolves v Liverpool can't make my mind up whether Dendonker is cool and composed decent player or slow and negative, a lot on here wanted him not long ago not sure he is what we need now though To be fair people judgements were a little hazey back then. It was a time where people were want ...

Re: Jan Transfer Window 18/19
There's a chance Browne comes back and gets a chance to compete with Silva for that 4th/5th choice striker slot next season. Think the rest of them are done in our colours in all honesty. Can see Cullen working his way up to a side that get promoted to the Prem and Fernandes ending up back in Engla...

Re: Jan Transfer Window 18/19
I'm pretty comfortable with a low spend in Jan. We've got the best squad I can remember us having. We need a left back in the Summer and if we can keep hold of our players and add a couple of big signings I'd see that as progress. Me too, its quite clear that players like Silva can do no worse than...

I cry a little inside every time i think about how good he could have been. I mean he was brilliant but he had so much more to give. :cry:Colours never run wrote:Dean Asthon was a genuine exception to the rule and proof it can be achieved. What a ****ing January signing he was!

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Arsenal: match thread
I'm surprised how many people are putting nasri in their starting line up for this, he's played 60 minutes of competitive football in 13 months and that was against a mid table championship side in which he keep it very very simple. I thought he did well but i dont think he warrants a start against ...

Birmingham are awful. They had 10 corners against us and didn't even scored
All seriousness though. As we went through and managed to rest some players. Weeks recovery now and on to Arsenal.

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Birmingham City: match thread
we just can't risk Arnie. our best striker - massive drop off in quality between him and our next best. But seems a bit rash by Peli if he's saying he's fine. You just vindicated Pellegrini in that sentence. Arnie is so important, he had already scored and we were one nil up and he obviously had a ...
