I wouldn't bother. You'd be the biggest shithouse in the pub in their eyes for pointing out their stupidity. Never understood that. Why risk it, even for the ae of your license, never mind your kids lives? Wouldn't bother me being "the biggest shithouse in the pub" Obviously used to drink...

"Well" I said," I'm having trouble pronouncing the letters F ,T and H "
"Well" he said " You can't say fairer than that then, can you?"

No matter how poor West Ham perform and how depressed I get ,I know that Mrs Brown's boys or Michael McIntyre will always return a smile to my face.

Personalised number plates on a car are such a marvellous non egotistical idea. I've always been interested in who you are and what you drive.

I remember us playing Wimbledon at home on a Thursday. April 13th 1995. Pretty much the norm these days but very unusual in those days.

Population of Newham is quite a bit higher than Newcastle! But it is a fair point. You get much more local identity outside of London as cities are much easier to define than areas within a large city.lpl So if you are from Neecastle there is a fair chance you will have a strong affinity to the cit...

My nephew had a premonition that we would win this game 5-0 and subsequently had a couple of quid at 80/1. He just disappeared to Ladbrokes under the Bobby Moore stand to collect his winnings when Lazaridis made it 6-0 in the 90th minute. How we laughed!

Yosemite national park. Back in the 90's we were part of a small tour group travelling between Vegas, Los Angeles and San Francisco. We were "allocated" 2 days in Yosemite. Great, I thought, a walk through the woods. Turned out the best 2 days out of the 26 day tour. Amazing eye opener.

Can't get over the fact there is such a thing as a street WhatsApp group. Cambridge is so behind the times. There is however, a Facebook group called Babble in the village, which just contains inane requests from people with a fear of missing out should their voice not be heard for a few days. Or may...

Away at Hull City, clutched a wayward shot above my head and nonchantly tossed it back to Jimmy Walker getting a thumbs up from the big man.
