Easy 12 points.
Nah. No matter how many Liverpool score, they’ll still only get 6.

Not sure about this...
Fair enough - I stand corrected! I’m maybe guilty of judging just by what I saw in real time and Arthur’s previous.

You must have an extremely high pain threshold to be able to sit through that re-run and offer such a detailed analysis.

I actually think it's the attempt to play the modern pressing game that did for us today.

You can't play it with players with the lack of pace and stamina we have. Oh and in Haller's case, the lack of ******* balls.
I didn’t see us attempt anything of the sort in the first half

We were 2-0 down at half time.
That was my point! We were 1-0 down with seconds to go until half time when Arthur has his brain fart and we go in at 2-0 instead.

Re: Leicester City v West Ham United: Match Thread

For all that we were dreadful in the first half, and we were utterly, utterly dreadful, we were going in at half time only a goal behind and with a chance to regroup until Arthur went MIA. Again. I know that he can (occasionally) show some skill or beat his man (before inevitably losing it to the ne...

Re: Leicester City v West Ham United: Match Thread

Throw-ins still haven’t been sorted. They have a throw-in: lots of unmarked players to aim for. We have a throw-in: nobody showing for it, lose possession. It’s ****ing basic.

On the Joe Allen front rumour has it that we’re waiting for him to pick up a little injury so we can try and haggle for the price. The brainstorming in those transfer meetings is out of this world
I call BS! Where did this rumour come from?

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Diangana: pace, energy, enthusiasm, confidence.

Everything our team currently lacks.

He’s our player, even if he’s probably having the time of his life at West Brom.

Time to bring him back.

Anyone else notice the crowd’s hesitation in celebrating our goal today - just in case VAR ruled it out.

THAT is why I hate VAR, and nobody will convince me otherwise.

Re: West Ham United v Everton: Match Thread

Thought we played ‘ok’ and really should have had the three points. Everton were poor and there for the taking, but we let them off the hook. No idea why Fornals got hooked whilst Lanzini was left on the pitch. I’d like to see Ajeti given a bit more game time with Haller. Looks up for it, at least. ...

Re: Taxi for Karren ? Is one due ?

As soon as I read the word ‘wholeheartedly’ in her article, I switched off.

She doesn’t have a heart. I loathe her the most out of our owners, and she’s up against some pretty stiff competition.

Re: Welcome (again), Darren Randolph

Bottom line is, I’d rather see him between the sticks on Saturday than Martin or (shudder) Roberto, and I’m guessing our defence feels the same.

If he was faultless last time around, he’d have been our No.1 now. He’s fine as a No.2.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Let’s be honest, even if the board were prepared to stump up some proper funds there isn’t a lot out there for us: Any top up and coming talent is likely to be hoovered up by the big boys, who are a much greater pull than us (a la Fernandez). Any established top talent isn’t going to be interested i...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

So, for 3-4 days now, there's been pretty much no gossip or rumours of deals being negotiated on here. Does this mean that the owners have remembered that they're meant to be operating in silence and there's been a lockdown? Or does this mean that they've got zero intent of buying anyone and Sully's...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Whilst not letting our owners off the hook for being the loathsome, incompetent twunts that they are, I actually don’t hold them responsible for losing out on transfers like Fernandez (assuming we do lose out). The player is being punted out by his agents to all and sundry. It isn’t his heartfelt li...

Re: Sheffield United v West Ham United: Match Thread

A poor game, but that’s exactly what Sheffield Utd do - win poor games. Thought our performance under the circumstances was ok. Not great, not poor and certainly not pretty. If we’d taken one of our earlier chances it would all feel very different this morning. Fine margins etc. I though Balbuena wa...
