Re: Does anybody know someone that does airport transfers?

Thanks for all the alternative suggestions etc but I am only after an airport transfer and nothing else. I'm aware of all the other ways I could get there but they are of no use to me this time due to my parents requirements. I'll just keep shopping about. Thanks!

I know! That's what I usually do with the mrs when we have an early one. So much easier and stress-free. Don't think that's gonna be an option this time though.

Does anybody know someone that does airport transfers?

We’re off on holiday next month and are flying from Gatwick. I’ve been looking online for transfer quotes and the prices are mad. I need a cab to Gatwick from Hornchurch for 4 adults and a toddler (so need a car seat). I’ve been getting quotes of £320+ for a return journey which seems crazy to me. I...

Re: England -v- Brazil & then -v- Belgium

I don't think Cole Palmer will go, given he hasn't featured across these two games Could he be the most gormless looking player in the league? A good player, of course. I just have this feeling that he is one of those players. Scores bundles of pens for his club. He uses that new fangled silly run ...

Re: England -v- Brazil & then -v- Belgium

Dan James looked terrified walking up. He looks like a little boy at the best of times. I doubt many fancied him to score that fifth penalty. Strange decision to bring David Brooks off in ET, who is one of Wales' best technical players (I rate him), bring on a forward in Broadhead and then him not t...

West Ham Utd: Adrian; Demel, Collins (Johnson 9), Tomkins, McCartney; Nolan, Noble, Taylor, Diame (J Cole 69), Carroll, Downing.

We've come a long way, baby.

Re: England -v- Brazil & then -v- Belgium

Mavro just hit the bar with a powerful header in the 10th minute of extra time in Grecce's play off final. 0-0 with Georgia. Followed seconds later by a trademark brainfart when he passed straight to a Georgian attacker just outside his own box with no pressure on the ball. Just about got away with...

Re: England -v- Brazil (C4 from 1900)

Feel a bit sorry for Konsa. Making his debut against Brazil (and so directly against Vinicius) in an unfamiliar position at right back. That's a bit of a piss take.

Rashford anywhere near the box = stand up his man and try and beat him, or make a backwards pass. Fairly easy for top international defenders to deal with.

Re: (WHU related) FA CUP Lack of semi final appearances.

But would the memory of Paolo diCanio's goal be any less had it happened in a league match. I was at that cup match and I was also at Old Trafford when Carlos Tevez scored the goal that kept us in the Premier League . I know which goal I regard as the more important, and therefore the more memorabl...

Re: UEFA Europa League 2023-24

Neverkusen's goalie playing for Finland against Wales tonight. Found this thread to comment on him. He's obviously very capable (BL have inly conceded 18 league goals in 26 games - the best by far), but he did look a bit uncomfortable coming to collect corners. That's hopefully an area we'll be loo...

Re: Ben Johnson

I’m not sure what you mean with this ? The way I see it, he is making his own decisions. He has been made an offer and he doesn’t think it’s acceptable so he is running down his contract. He can’t unfortunately offer himself a big contract. The stories I’ve read, whether accurate or not, suggest he...

Bad news that he's piping up, surely? Doesn't sound like he's selling up anytime soon, if he's moaning about this?
