Re: Trump

Those photos of that man on fire. All you can see is people holding their phones recording it. That's their first reaction.

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

Alonso played the game perfectly. Not that it took a master tactician to create the correct plan for the game. He knew that we'd throw the kitchen sink at them. He knew that his side had to hold us to a goal. It almost didn't work given the length of the adrenaline buzz our players were running on ...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

So many of our fans are going to get the manager that they deserve. Not what they think they deserve, but what they actually deserve. They've already got the owner they deserve. Because that's where the problem really is, and so many don't understand that until there is change at that level, well......

It's a brutal reminder of January. The second window in succession that we made a profit on transfers. After selling our captain for so much money in the summer.

The timings of those goals is no coincidence.

End of an era tonight. My favourite ever as a West Ham fan.

Proud of that performance.

Glad so many stayed to applaud them off.

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

I really think people need to forget about Gibbs-White. He cost them £42m, we won't get him for £50m, it'll be £60m+, probably closer to £70m, and at that point isn't it too much? They'll want a not insubstantial profit on their best player. If they get relegated with their PSR issues their negotia...

Annoyingly, I think they will win it.

Any PL team entering it should go deep.

Which is why we laugh at Tottenham Hotspur.

Can’t we just lock this thread down once and for all with the agreement that without opening it and knowing for sure, David Moyes is both the best and worst manager in our history?

Re: Midweek games

It's getting to the point now where I am starting to enjoy the social media 'fan' meltdowns more than the actual football.

Basically every single top club has a load of absolute morons spewing their guts in real time.

Re: Midweek games

As horrendous a club as Madrid are, and the help they get domestically is despicable and no mistake... but the team/players they have just have this knack of being spawny and resolute on top of having real class. Can't see past them now (which really is not a big shout to be fair :crylol: )

I've mentioned this before. He ALWAYS stands his man up. A quality player, no doubt. But can be predictable.
