Surely you of all people know Moyes cares about a players attitude.

The blokes a liability. We don’t need to sign players like that.
His attitude has improved. He has some quality and could end up being a decent player in the league.

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

Surely Morelos is worth a punt as a lower cost option? Averages more than a goal every two games for Rangers.

What’s the big deal if posters have a laugh in the midst of absolutely nothing at all happening? Bizarre.

The last few pages have been boring as ****.

It's like a bunch of women arguing about the colour of that dress that went viral a couple of years back.
What colour did you think it was?

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

They're hardly of the same ilk though are they? Those three players were also on our bench when we were fighting relegation two seasons ago, they're not top 6 players. Neither is Lingard, according to Man Utd fans. One big change is he used to look after his players and would set up good moves for ...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

Okay. Imagine, last season we loaned Yarmolenko to Wolves, he scored 9 goals and was one of their best players. We keep him this season and it doesn't work out. Wolves, now a mere three points from us in the table come in for Yarmolenko for £5 million. Do you sell him? Sure. Isn’t he on 100K or som...

Pretty awful comparison. How exactly do Fredericks, Yarmolenko and Masuaku measure up to Lingard in terms of player quality?
It’s a relative comparison. Lingard struggles to even make the squad.

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

They probably thought that last season. They now have last season as a reference. Last season Lingard was our second top goalscorer after half a season. Champion's League is worth more money than any transfer fee they will receive from us. So why risk it? £10 million for Lingard is chump change com...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

Lingard isn't starting for them? It's a very odd situation where a player deemed not good enough for them is proven to be very very good for a team one point below them. I mean if one of our squad players was good enough to be a star at Arsenal or Spurs he would be good enough to play for us! Man U...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

Even if that same player had played on loan for them last season, was one of their better players and was vital in at least 4 victories? Seems stupid to be honest. In this hypothetical situation such a player would surely be a starter for us and not a squad player, based on relative squad strengths?

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

What if we'd loaned them Arthur last season and he was arguably their best play, fit like a glove and scored 9 goals in half a season? They'd essentially be giving us a proven asset when we're right behind them. If we had a reserve who was in the last year of his contract and someone else came in w...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

That's the issue for Origi. He's basically barely played since he was 19. It's impossible to know how he's body would react to suddenly playing whole seasons, let alone how good he would actually be playing 90 minutes consistently. I actually think he'll prove to be pretty good, he was keeping Luka...

They'd be foolish to deal with us now. Would you agree to sell any player to Arsenal or Tottenham this year? Let alone one with previously excellent form for them?
If they came in with 20M for Arthur you'd be a fool to say no!

I know three Liverpool fans and all three of them say Origi other than some high profile goals has been pretty much useless when given minutes.
I heard a popular game in the Anfield dressing room is, "Pin The Tail On The Origi."

He's been given 1294 minutes in the league in the last 4 seasons. He actually has 9 goals and 2 assists from those.
That equates to playing 14.4 full games in the past four years!
