Only time I ever saw him was bringing out the wreath against Wolves when Bobby Moore died . Condolence...

Re: First Time At Upton Park

Not a bad team. PARKES POTTS DICKS GALE DICKENS JUDAS KEEN PARRIS SLATER WARD MCAVENNIE. The team is definitely a lot different now. Those were the days Yep those were the days 88/89 season relegated That aside a bizarre season with some great results in the cups . Then winning 5 of the last 7 to g...

Re: Ever shat your pants as a fully grown man?

No, but twice have had to crap while on a run. Once in Golden Gate park bushes because it was too early in the morning for the public toilets to be open, the other time on a long run in the countryside in winter time. Just me and the cows in the nearest field to the road. There's nothing like simul...

Tim Breacker . Always solid and consistent without being a star Clive Allen - Not in his prime but scored some important goals to get promoted . Good Shouts about Mark Robson & Peter Butler. I remember being disappointed when Robson was sold Kevin Keen as well he got a lot of stick unfairly looking ...

Re: First Time At Upton Park

was at that game...not my first though. Reason the crowd was so big was that the club was giving out vouchers for the League Cup final, due to be played at Wembley on 14 March. As you went though the turnstiles you got a card which meant you could had a possibilty of buying a final ticket. Thanks P...

Re: If there was no West Ham ?

Without question Chelmsford City

If and if it had to be a professional league team then Colchester United.

If we suddenly went bust and no Phoenix club arose from that as I’d have lost interest so I love cricket so Essex CCC would be my team

Re: Reece Oxford

Mind you, we have never sold on a youngster that has come back to bite us. Junior Stanislas might have nibbled at bit. Sean Maguire may have or may have the potential, but his injuries seem to be messing that up! I’m being a bit perdantic although not sold but released Ray Houghton. Probably most s...
