I don't understand those who don't think we need a decent second striker.

First of all a superb performance just about all round. Double substitution to let players get the ovation they deserved also spot on, the only down of the whole night was why put on Noble/Yarmalenko when he could have given a couple of the youngsters a few minutes game time.

Last nights excellent display, showed that the first 11 will be able to compete at somewhere near the top level. However, it also highlighted the near for the 3 or 4 signings which we know will give us the strength in depth to cope with Europe as well and cover for injuries.

Been looking at the bench for 19 mins trying to see where a goal is coming from if we need one!!!!

Hope those there get behind the team properly tonight, look at what it did for Brentford last week, it cant be underestimated.

I agree that players should want to come, but my overriding thought is how good are Moyes and/or Sullivan at selling the club? We hear we want young eager players, but seem to be moving towards the other end of the scale. If no signings before the window closes, I'll be amazed if we are in the top 1...

The potential issue is the same as Jan, Moyes wants certain players who we either can't afford/won't pay wages or don't want to come here. So last minute more likely to be loan and Lingard.
