Lists his one weakness as holding onto the ball, which it describes as not just weak, but somewhat worryingly, very, very weak :hush:
I said it already .....

Re: January

PS: By the way, Amrabat looks very similar to Rice...

(In the stats as in the way he plays and body shape)

Maybe with him we can build some bunker in the middle and cover the back a bit better...

Re: January

Heres another good example of a low profile player who can be very interesting for us: The colombian attackling MF John Stiven Mendoza . And albeit hes a ofensive unit similar to Anderson, hes faster, more combative and helps a lot in defense... 27 years old, 4 goals in 7 games for Amiens in France ...

I’d rather go for players playing well for the lesser teams, than go for players who aren’t playing for the bigger teams.
BINGO!!!

Exactly what I mean (and I could not put it there in words)...

Re: Roberto Jimenez

Roberto is NOT the (main) problem... I recon hes not that good as I thought and also not world beater, BUT we have other urgent positions to cover up... Mostly the MF. PS: By the way, I still did not understand whats was in Pelle minds not went for someone like Gerónimo Rulli (now in Montpellier fro...

Re: January

There are several top players not getting any playing time at big clubs. Juventus simply have too many players. Emre Can seems to have no future at Juve under Sarri. He along with Mandzukic and Perrin have been left off their Champions league squad. All 3 would be a huge upgrade for us. Especially ...

Re: January

Cheers mate. Thanks very much. I used to be a GK and a long time ago, I had a trials with a couple teams. I am not necessarily being negative about him, since some of his goalkeeping looks alright, but his glove work does need improving.~If he could keep hold of those shots and wrap himself round t...

Re: January

I have seen the vids again and... Lot of tackles, anticipations and blocks from Vida, so its a big yes from me... ("underrated") He looks even better than Ogbonna or Balbuena sometimes.... (?? !!) Curse is only on youtube, but if we could get him for a cut price for, lets say 7-8 M Euro, its could b...

Re: January

"Out of left field" is American slang meaning "unexpected", "odd" or "strange". The phrase came from baseball terminology, referring to a play in which the ball is thrown from the area covered by the left fielder to either home plate or first base, surprising the runner. According to mlb.com there ...

Re: January

to be honest, I don't see spending 10M E on another CB - Reid might be getting fit, Cardoso is one for the future and we have other needs - RB, LB (although I don't see us getting in one anytime soon) and a B2B MF so spending 10M (that we don't apparently have anyway) would seem one right out of le...

Re: January

Still quite a lot of shot saving with his feet, although as they say, it doesn't matter how you save them, but I still noted how he failed to collect any of them cleanly. He does seem to get down quickly, which shows agility and that is always crucial for a GK and is often overlooked by managers an...
