Re: West Ham Utd vs West Bromwich Albion: match thread
Regista, I completely agree. As for AC being technically good with his feet, erm no. Last week was like the first time I've seen him score a goal by hanging on the shoulder of a defender and latching onto a through ball. He's not graceful on the pitch, he doesn't take nice directional touches and ta...

Re: Transfer Window: January 2017
It's that kind of apathetic thinking why West Ham have been so useless over the course of our history. If we're not going forwards we're stagnating, like any business...warp wrote: we'll finish 13th rather than 8th. big deal!

Re: Transfer Window: January 2017
Nothing like a few wins on the bounce to gloss over how poor we've been this season, not to mention we've lost a world class player.
**** it going to hit the fan if Carroll crocks himself or someone like Antonio. We'll see how optimistic we all are in that circumstance.

Re: Transfer Window: January 2017
With Byram adapting better with each game you can add Antonio to your list as well as Ayew - last season when we were playing well our midfield were chipping in with goals , add Cresswell , Byram and Reid to the equation and we have goals in most positions not just the strikers - Carroll is defende...

Re: Transfer Window: January 2017
It's an absolute travesty that we've been left so short in the striking dept. Carrol - having a purple patch, not exactly prolific, very injury prone Sakho - not prolific, moody, back problems Calleri - useless Fletcher - too young/inexperienced to be relied upon How is this acceptable? We're not ev...

Re: Transfer Window: January 2017
He's had 1 straight red and 1 suspension in over 160 games. I think we'll be fine. Oh yes, statistics, great to manipulate to fit an argument. I don't care how many games he's played at Leeds or wherever. For the record I actually rate the kid and I think there's a player in there. Anyone who knows...

Re: Transfer Window: January 2017
So we've lost our best player and we've not signed a right back or striker for the umpteenth window, yet it's all good because we can spend in the summer. Like stealing candy from a baby with you lot... :arry:

Where were all their suitors? I said after one game both of them where **** (to cries of hysteria, and they're settling in, give them time), how come a mug like me can see that and yet our scouts can't. If someone drew up a list of all the signings the porn barons made, there would be one common the...

Re: Transfer Window: January 2017
Nordtveit and Tore both international with European experience signed from teams near the top of their leagues. Yes our owners aren't perfect, but we should stop using hindsight to knock them. There's enough to be annoyed about. Turkey and Norway and Christian Dailly... Who lets their best players ...

Re: Transfer Window: January 2017
Unless there is a 5* deal to be done in any position, we should do nothing. 8 points above relegation, 11 off the top 6, mid table mediocrity guaranteed. Premiership experience given, where possible, to the likes of Nordveit & Feghouli. Game/bench time to the like of Arhur,Byram,Fletcher, Ferna...

Re: West Ham Utd vs Hull City: match thread
Love how Carroll Shirks his responsibility to get in the box, turn with the ball, get a shot away, key example where he let it run onto Payet, he couldn't of been sure that ball was going to make it and he should have taken the initiative and trapped it rather than leave it and we lost possession. W...

Re: Transfer Window: January 2017
Like all the Jan windows that have gone before, this will be a damp squib and all the old excuses will be reeled out: Jan's not a good time to buy, sell before we buy, ffp, rinse repeat. Yet low and behold we sign dross in the summer too. Wouldn't waste your time on team formations and decent player...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
Surely the buck stops with Lord Coe, absolute farce that he nor anyone responsible with the Olympic project didn't have the forsight to realise that athletics alone is not a sustainable solution. Plenty of examples of Olympic relics around the world to support that argument. We should have been able...
