Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.
Everything being said about Villa was being said this time last year and beyond about them......... They finished 14th. People never learn. "Winning" a transfer window normally equates to not very much. Ask Fulham, they "won" a summer transfer window not so far back.........they ...

All you needed was a politician to somehow of entered that scrum as Zouma left the car......or just passing by.
You would then have had three of the most vile groups of people on the earth represented in one scrum.
An Animal abuser.

A Politician.

One day, probably not in my lifetime......but at some point. Law and order will completely break down......sort of Max Max style. And life will be a complete free for all. .......We have rules and laws that are ignored from the top down, even by those who make those laws and no bugger takes responsi...

It there's a mob that doesn't do beach mode......it's us.....let alone the manager buying that for one second.
There's absolutely nothing in the history of this group that indicates anyone thinks that way....ever.
Let alone when something is up for grabs.

The two (anti Europe) protagonists in this European battle..........Palace & Brighton......
have both drawn the most games of any teams in the Premier League.....and significantly so.
Both have drawn 15 games.
I'll settle for Palace doing the same on Sunday.....

I'm 58 years old.....and straight. Not 17 years old and gay. So I'm not approaching this with much understanding of what he may be going through. But God (or whoever) gave me some secret weapons for situations like this. He gave me empathy, he gave me understanding, he shows me my own vulnerability ...

We are so stubborn, so awkward , so determined, so obstinate.......so motivated and organised.
But always dangerous......and that puts people in fear of us.
I never go into any game, against anyone, fearing we will get thumped.
And I'm mighty proud of having that feeling.

I largely agree with Tenbury to some degree..... Life is just a search for crutches to get us through life. We use many things as crutches, we just don't realise it. Kids, wives, families, work, interests, sports, love, pets, friends.....etc, etc.......they are all crutches to some/many. And are cru...

I'm of the mind, that if there was a moment on the field , over the past 2/3 years that changed everything .... It was Yarmolenko's winner v Chelsea. Re : Football season ending. It affected me once, that's why I thought about raising the subject. The last two posts are spot on. Declan Rice is sort of taking over the baton. He is needed, not just on the pitch....but around the club. I think it's actually something that Declan understands.....and a reason he has given a handshake to staying put. I really believe that. The whole football club n...
