Re: WHUISA - WHU Independent Supporters Association

Can those in the know tell me if a Conservative candidate has ever been elected for East Ham?

Re: Hammers United launch campaign to force dialogue with the Club

I agree Gary. Not disheartened by the reply at all.We now have 2 MPs on board and we carry on the fight.-No-one ever thought it would be easy.

Re: Protests against the board being planned

You will recall figures being banded about much higher than the true figures it would cost to sack the manager. This is also true of redeveloping the stadium.New owners could do it.

Re: Hammers United launch campaign to force dialogue with the Club

Good Morning all. Just to let you know that the FSA.have entered into a formal relationship with Trading Standards enabling them to take advice from them on consumer related issues. In football terms this means terms and conditions on season tickets and ticket exchange systems like at West Ham where ...

Re: Protests against the board being planned

Arch Dandy. You are correct sir, that is the problem. The fans need to be organised.-And it seems the fans groups would rather make videos moaning about the board then actually do anything about it! At Hammers United we always knew this would be a marathon, not a sprint. We are doing our best to make thi...

Re: Protests against the board being planned

20,000 fans who are most definitely anti-board no longer go to the matches, though some still go away games.I now have more mates that don't go than do.Hammers United are leafletting against Arsenal.Of the 9 leafleting 4 have no intention whatsoever of setting foot in the Soulless Bowl again until GS...

Re: Hammers United launch campaign to force dialogue with the Club

You will recall that as requested by members we wrote to West Ham asking what had happened to the John Lyall plaque. Reply received by Hammers United. Hi Lee, The Blue Plaque initiative links buildings with notable men and women who have lived or worked in them. The Blue Plaque attached to the Boley...

Re: Protests against the board being planned

UTJ.I take your point. Hammers United are not a protest group either. We have been around 7 months. We have tried, and are still trying, to get West ham to speak to the democratic fans groups.-We have not resorted to protest. Only when all 'diplomatic' channels are exhausted will we consider some form ...

Re: Protests against the board being planned

UTJ.That is why KUMB and Hammers United should meet over a coffee or a beer and see what common ground we have and if and how we can work together.

Re: Protests against the board being planned

Adrian. You say that if we are top ten and protest we will look foolish.Earlier in this thread there were several saying it would look bad on the facebase protesting if results were bad!!

The fact is results have nothing to do with it.

Re: Protests against the board being planned

Mywhu.

One more thing. You say H.U. have fallen into their trap.

On the contrary, the trap is to become part of the OSB.-And we have not fallen into it.

Re: Protests against the board being planned

Mywhu.I had planned to keep off this today but your remarks are so far off the mark I have to reply. Our members voted by 90 to 10% not to ask for a place on the OSB.-The SAB. you refer to no longer exists. You say it was a loaded vote which is not true.-It also implies that our members do not have t...

Re: Protests against the board being planned

Cuenca.Rules and regulations have been debated on here already at great length.I don't think any of us can gain from doing the whole thing over and over again. The process is taking it's course and the club may still decide to engage.-Let us hope so. We have cited the regulations to support our reque...

Re: Protests against the board being planned

Cuenca.I will answer tomorrow cos I have to go to work now.-However, we cannot reconsider. This is our mandate as voted for by our members,-And actually I agree with them._I believe that in view of promises made the supporters do have the right to expect the club to provide a squad able to keep this ...

Re: Protests against the board being planned

Doc,you are a well liked and respected(not least by me)part of the old skool fan base.I well know that you are sensible and level headed whilst at the same time hugely passionate about West Ham, and that you have proved before that you are not afraid to protest if the cause is just.I therefore take ...

Re: Protests against the board being planned

Georgee, the ones that don't go anymore will be among the most vociferous if it comes to a protest.-A lot of the old school who feel pushed out.

Re: Protests against the board being planned

The problem with any action inside the ground is that thousands who would support a protest no longer go to the ground.-And more are walking away every week.

Re: Protests against the board being planned

I was working yesterday afternoon/evening so have only just caught up with this. Some excellent debate on KUMB and great to see that some still care passionately about our club. Hammers United Committee has 2 places left whilst we are always on the lookout for more 'friends' so if any of you would li...
