Re: The Champions League Final

Liverpool fans actually asking for other fans to open the gates so that they can rush into the stands with absolutely no sense of irony whatsoever.

**** me I do so detest that club.

Re: 2022/2023 schedule

I'd say bugger me long season but I think we need a proper mid season break (not the pretend staggered two week break one we've been having) and in all honesty this demonstrates that it's possible. The issue as always is too many competitions with too many games, with pointless international friendl...

Dave Dixon doesn't know what he is talking about - he's a Corbynite, if you needed any further proof.
BBC bulletin:

"Concerns are being raised tonight for the welfare of EvilC amid reports that Delbert has taken over his KUMB account."

Re: The Elizabeth Line / Crossrail

Where from? If you are talking about Liverpool Street then that figure can't be right. Edit, although TFL journey planner also has it as five minutes. That's impressive when you consider there is a stop at Farringdon In between. Yeah, Liv St to TCR is about 5 mins. Liverpool St to Paddington is off...

Does anyone else on here have an unhealthy obsession with lawns?
No, the kids have completely ruined mine playing football on it. There's a huge dirt patch right in the middle that constantly floods when it rains that I've dubbed Lake Sendo.

Re: Formula1

Yeah, Spa Francorchamps is one of the great F1 circuits alongside Silverstone, Monza, Hungaroring, Suzuka, Nurburgring and Circuit Gilles Villeneuve for me. I'd sooner jettison Monaco, which I've long since found dull, even if it too is one of the great circuits (and is on this weekend). At what poi...

Yesterday someone shared a video of Aguero running box to box in 7 seconds. About 100 yards? So 90 metres? In 7 seconds?

And it went unquestioned
I've seen plenty of our fans do that running for the bar at HT tbf.

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

I like the look of this Aguerd lad. Fast, tall, strong, and I like the way from those clips he likes to drive forward at pace with the ball when turning it over, much like a certain Basmati fellow in our midfield. The sort of player who would certainly help us get back to being good on the counter, ...

Re: Europa Conference League 22-23

A great trophy win for Roma and Mourinho. It's clear to see how much they all think of this competition. It's only PL snobbery from Sky and the "big 6" that is devaluing this competition. We've got a good chance in this, and it'd be a great cup for us to win. Just think though, if Spurs ha...

Re: The Johnson Government 2019-202?

Especially when there's a rizla paper between all of them. None of them stand for anything. It's the same club with different colours. I don't think that's entirely true at all. Johnson's government certainly seem to stand for whatever benefits them in that moment. Labour have things they stand for...

Re: The Johnson Government 2019-202?

For me the most worrying thing about all this is not that Johnson is a proven liar that refuses to quit (he is), or that Tory MPs all know that he's a proven liar and refuse to oust him (they do), it's that the rest of the country know we have a government led by an incompetent, lying buffoon and st...

I doubt Kral cost a great deal, and it was probably a bit of a punt based on Soucek's recommendation as a 4th choice centre mid.

I wouldn't read too much into it re Soucek's place in the squad.

I honestly struggle to feel sympathy for a nation that could solve the problem if it wishes but fundamentally thinks a few dead kids every couple of months is a price worth paying so some cousin ****ing hillybilly can feel safer in his home.

So Rice and Bowen now going to have to continue playing through to mid-June so that we can squeeze in 4 totally-competitive-and-definitely-not-convoluted-friendy matches.

Still, deserved for Bowen. Amazed Southgate didn't find a way to pick Rashford.

Not to mention draconian fines for students having parties whilst the go...
