Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Some people are still in denial. Forget David Moyes. Sullivan is slowly but surely is leaving as well . I was told by someone who was the 1st one to break the kretinsky news . Despite whetstones denial . That kretinsky has a deal in place for the stadium. And he brokered it . As the LLDC will not e...

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

What's the line up gonna be then? It's a proper "bare bones" one, which is funny when you think we've only got 2 players suspended and perhaps 3 injured. Assumed out: Paqueta, Emerson, Areola, Mavropanos, Bowen. Assumed lineup: ----------------- Fabianski -------------------- Coufal --- Zo...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I was having a look back at some of the posts I made at the end of Bilic's reign and I found this one. Kind of feels like we're going on a similar journey. I think you're right Stoney. I don't think Sullivan really wants success. Well, he might, but he certainly doesn't want to pay for it, and defi...

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

Well, this is what it's all about, isn't it? None of that fannying about worrying about what grade of mid table we'll finish in the league. The late stages knock out football in a major European competition against one of the best sides on the continent. Bet365 have us at 10-1 to qualify. Bayer are ...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

58.2% possession in this game. Two main strikers on the pitch.

Fulham did to us what we used to be good at doing to other teams - soaking up pressure, and hitting decisively on the counter.

It's the same with TV presenters.

Anyway, I've the peas have started coming up in the veg bed. No sign of the carrots yet. Dill, spinach, broccoli, two lots of chilli peppers all starting to come up in the seed tray. The tomato plant that I snapped rooted well when I put it in water so 2x tomato plants starting to do well. 5x sunflo...

I strimmed the edge of my garden. My lawn no longer requires mowing, the 50% that isn't mud gets flattened by the kids playing football anyway.

Re: Things that are gone that you miss

Slowness. Everything has to be fast, almost instantaneous, now. I remember when I was a kid and we went on holiday, we used to have to wait 2 days to find out the football results, and then the only way to find out was to buy a newspaper that had been flown in from the UK and then hope there was a ...

Iran was happy enough when it was funding and encouraging a mass terrorist attack on Israeli citizens, and didn't seem overly concerned when Israel predictably flattened Gaza in response, but now seems put out because Israel killed one of the alledged instigators of this current war. All Iran has re...

He's one of those neat and tidy players who is better on the ball than off of it.

The trouble is, we need to be dominating possession to get the best from him.

Re: Where will we finish?

9th looks most likely at the moment. I can't see us getting ahead of Newcastle or Man Utd after that Fulham loss. Our GD is too poor too. We can still stay ahead of Chelsea. They have games in hand but we have points on board, and we still need to play them. That's a must not lose game. We just need...

Re: ✍️ Welcome Lucas Paquetá - Our Brazilian Magnifico

He looks like his head is gone. Presumably the Man City transfer is as good as agreed in the background, and he knows he's just treating water until the end of the season. His last couple of performances have been all round poor, and that kick at the end of the Fulham game was frankly embarrassing. ...

Re: West Ham United vs Fulham FC - Sunday 14 April - 2pm

I think that game about summed up our season. A bright start with chances created but not taken, with Antonio missing a near open goal in the process. Then it's brainfart time for our defence once again, with Mavropanos somehow hooking a long diagonal straight to Perreiras feet in space in the middl...
