Re: Out of Contract Players June 30 2024

Who should we keep and for how long ? Coufal most likely, especially given that Johnson will be off. Antonio depends on if we can move Ings on. If we're looking to buy a new striker (big if), we don't need Antonio plus Ings sitting on the bench taking up a chunk of the wage budget. The rest will mo...

Yeah, I had to plant my sweet peas out. They didn't like being stuck on the kitchen windowsill. Always a gamble this time of year.

Re: Summer Holidays

We've managed to get 10 days in the Costa del Sun during the school holidays for a smidge over three and a half bags, which I didn't think was bad all things considering.

It'll be the first foreign holiday for all of them, albeit Sendo Jr #1 went abroad when he was a baby, and he's now nearly 10.

Re: In other news

There's been a rare outbreak of common sense in north west London, where a non faith school has had it's decision to ban in school prayers upheld by the high court. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-68731366 The school argued its prayer policy was justified after it faced death and bomb t...

Re: The Sunak Government 2022-

It's true, you can't fault Liz Truss for proving that being a complete idiot that is totally out of their depth is no barrier to being propelled to the highest office in this great country if you have the right rich people in the background pulling your strings. It's something us mere mortals can on...

Re: Israel

I suspect Israel will respond by attacking some key Iranian targets, most likely linked to their nuclear programme. I highly doubt Israel will opt to use any sort of tactical nuke, especially given that Israel doesn't actually acknowledge that it has them, but I reckon they'll hit some targets withi...

Re: West Ham United vs Fulham FC - Sunday 14 April - 2pm

He was looking up at the ball trying to get in front of Wilson who saw Alvarez coming and gave Earthy a push into his path as he moves out of the way. He hit the side of his head on the ground. I think he knows what he's done. I think you're reading way too much into Wilson innocuously holding Eart...

Re: Where will we finish?

Realistically, Newcastle, Man Utd and Chelsea are going to finish ahead of us. Bournemouth, Wolves and Fulham probably wont catch us, and we'll probably do just enough to stay ahead of Brighton. 9th most likely, 10th possible. A disappointing end if so, considering we've been 6th/7th most of the sea...

It would have been if it'd been scored by Arsenal or Man City, but it was only scored by Crystal Palace so no.

You mean Fornals who scored the winner in Alkmaar to confirm us reaching the final, and Benrahma who then scored in said final?

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

We're not scoring 3 more than Leverkusen. I'm not trying to be negative. I think I'm being realistic. We don't need to score 3 more than Leverkusen. We only need 2 to force extra time and penalties. You don't need to think about scoring 3 from the off though. Just try and get the first one, and if ...

Some people are still in denial. Forget David Moyes. Sullivan is slowly but surely is leaving as well . I was told by someone who was the 1st one to break the kretinsky news . Despite whetstones denial . That kretinsky has a deal in place for the stadium. And he brokered it . As the LLDC will not e...

What's the line up gonna be then? It's a proper "bare bones" one, which is funny when you think we've only got 2 players suspended and perhaps 3 injured. Assumed out: Paqueta, Emerson, Areola, Mavropanos, Bowen. Assumed lineup: ----------------- Fabianski -------------------- Coufal --- Zo...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I was having a look back at some of the posts I made at the end of Bilic's reign and I found this one. Kind of feels like we're going on a similar journey. I think you're right Stoney. I don't think Sullivan really wants success. Well, he might, but he certainly doesn't want to pay for it, and defi...
