This will be the most difficult game for a while.
They'll must start winning, or plenty of their lot will have to find other teams come summer.

Re: ✍ Thilo Kehrer
We've let in the same amount of goals as Manchester United, who sit in 3rd.
Kehrer has played in most of our league games.
He must be doing something right.

Very good game
I only started worrying when we replaced Paquetá with Soucek. But we held on. Well played!

I like the new line up and tactics.
As long as we keep Paquetá on the pitch and Aguerd is if, I can see it working

Re: Where are the points coming from?
What I take comfort from is that West Ham usually wins a couple of games against the top sides, even when not playing well. So that is let's say four points. Moyes can grind out at least four more draws. That is four more. Our last three games are hopefully against teams who've not much to play for....

Re: January 2023 Transfer Window

If this is the gist of it, we'll be looking to go with four at the back sooner than later.
This line up looks very vulnerable to yellow cards, injuries and out of form players.

Re: ⚽ Derby County v West Ham Utd: match thread
"West Ham fans (like Everton) seem to be miserable 90% of the time and they have a squad with a wage bill of £134m per annum. Always on at the board for not spending enough, on at the players for not trying enough, constantly at odds with each other. Quite honestly a miserable existence. If th...

Re: Harrison Ashby.
Harrison is 21. He is old enough to be able to make a decison. He is old enough to understand how the football industry works. He should know that Newcastle has just been taken over by some of the wealthiest people in the business. He should know what has happened to footballers who are his age, who...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
For all our faults, defensively we are pretty solid and very organised. Barely 2-3 shots on target allowed over the last two matches. That’s why I think we will scrape enough unexpected wins and draws to stay up. Pretty dull to watch in the meantime mind. My thoughts as well. Benrahma and Paqueta m...

Re: Do you know anyone that has changed their team?
Plenty
I know people who like certain players, who like to see certain type of football
So when Messi left for PSG, they watched them in the CL not BFC
Or when Guardiola took over Bayern, they followed their games

Jose Saramago ~ Blindness Loved that book. Still my favourite from Jose. Since last I've been through https://d1w7fb2mkkr3kw.cloudfront.net/assets/images/book/lrg/9780/1410/9780141037172.jpg Quite enjoyable book about how the centre of Europe, the german lands, have influenced the histories of all ...

It's not moaning. What you are describing is what some call mindfull attentiveness / mindfullness.Hummer_I_mean_Hammer wrote: ↑Thu Jan 26, 2023 10:46 am Even with VHS, it wasn’t the same. Probably just an old man moaning.

Re: Is the music industry killing vinyl?
But why is vinyl being kept alive? For me, and plenty more like me who enjoy putting on a record and listening to a piece of music as a kind of ritual. Just as reading a physical book, going to a theater to see people live not on Netflix, making food by cooking it yourself not going to KFC.... My i...
