Would be tempted with a Fornals - Rice - Paquerta midfield trio
In fairness to him, its doesnt help being played out of position

A run of games for Scammaca please Moyes, starting with this one.

No more crap about the new players needing to get used to us.

They should both be playing

Afraid not Mitten, you need the email.
Check your spam, if not head straight to the ticket office, do not pass go and do not enter any pubs.
You can log into your account on line and re send the email to yourself, then just download the ticket

Am not quite sure how much you've seen of Ashby but he hardly gets over the half way line. I assume he is playing to instruction though.
In the U23s he payed RWB as well as RB and scored and set up quite a few. Think he had the most assists last season??

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

Wonder if Sangare signing that extension has anything to do with a possible release clause (going up or down), or PSV simply had the option to extend it? Seems like a strange thing for him to do, given there’s been a fair amount of interest in him. Unless he does just love playing there and is real...

Re: Season Ticket Renewals - Please click link and sign petition

Yes we did, in entrance H (and others). I was part of that test. Quite a lot of a difference between testing with a few fans and going hell for leather with the entire expanded ground though. Fwiw, most people I knew that were meant to be part of that test carried on using the scanners. I'd be inte...

Re: ⚽ Racing Club de Lens v West Ham Utd: match thread

Ive said this on another thread, so apologies for repeating, but I get the impression Moyes has found these games more of a hassle than anything. Great for working on fitness etc but it like he just wants them out of the way. It like players have been told not to go too hard, staying out of the odd ...

-------------Areola Johnson - Zouma - Cresswell Coufal -----Downes-----Fornals --------Soucek--------Rice Bowen-----------------Scamacca Swamps midfield, but allows us to keep control of our shape when defending. That team would just invite pressure on us all day. Just a matter of time before they ...

I think we have looked pretty rubbish so far in pre season. Not a knee jerk or anything like that, just saying how I see it. Defence looks shaky and we look pretty limited in attack

Re: The kids are all right

I don't dispute that both age groups had good seasons. But without wanting to disrespect them I'm inclined to say "so what". And the EFL trophy isn't really a true guide is it ? As I understand it most League 1 and 2 sides use those games to give their fringe squad players and likely kids...

Re: The kids are all right

We will see. We used to be a force in the F A Youth Cup back in the day but our experiences in that competition in recent years have been, frankly, pretty appalling. I've got no idea whether the academy is run efficiently or not but if I took over the club tomorrow I would have a long hard look at ...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

Is it not tiresome worrying like that? What if we spend £40m on a left back, £50m on a striker, and £60m on a backup for Rice and they all get injured in September?!?? We should buy three players for each position just in case. Cresswell out? Johnson plays for what it’s worth. I’m not arguing that ...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

Obviously not, but you’re lying to yourself if you think Moyes won’t start the season with Cresswell at left back. Antonio will manage at least until Broja arrives towards the end of August. My point is panicking with 59/60 days to go is pointless. But the point is, if one of those players is out t...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

33 days until Man City and I could tell you right now Moyes would start his trusted XI. For all this talk of Broja specifically, why would Moyes not start Fornals, Lanzini, Bowen, Antonio for example? Even if it was for the first 10 games of the season. Yes we need reinforcements. Yes we will sign ...

I agree, but that shows even more how painfully thin the squad is.
