Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

IB - of a night time, after you’ve ironed your David Moyes t-shirt, washed your David Moyes mug, put on your David Moyes PJs and climbed under your David Moyes duvet, do you ever stop and think you might like David Moyes a bit too much?

Re: Possible Takeover Bid ?

I love the idea of building up instead of down.
Take the roof off, gut the inside and raise the pitch by 10ft.

Re: Possible Takeover Bid ?

Man united have asked to install ‘safe standing’ @ OT.
That would be a step forward for the sh*t bowl.

Re: Possible Takeover Bid ?

Was thinking about this yesterday.....
If someone were to buy the stadium outright before the club is sold, does that then void any % due to the London legacy people if the club were to be sold??

Re: Possible Takeover Bid ?

I think RB are the best possible owners we could hope for. They know how to run a sports business.

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC

You’re asking the impossible.
IB has no ability to admit the truth. Even when we eventually get relegated he’ll be telling us Moyes worked wonders at Everton and that he was hand picked by Fergie.
Manchester United, Real Sociedad and Sunderland never happened..........

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

I’d have Arnie back in a heartbeat, but I understand why some don’t.
If they really wanted to they could still do it, players can sign for clubs from anywhere around the globe.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Depends which league we’re in I guess. I can’t see Antonio going or Fornals unless he wants to. Losing Wilshere & Sanchez has zero impact as they contribute zero. Same Yarmolenko to a lesser extent. Haller I’m 50/50. Despite all the grief he gets his record is still decent. He just doesn’t look thri...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Is it heck. The guy was never getting a decent run of games at Chelsea. Here he would be the main man. He would add depth and he is a great front line pivot for everyone to work around and feed off. 5 years ago maybe. He can’t get a look in now for a very good reason, he’s past it. Decent run? He p...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

19 goals in 70 total appearances and was a key player when France won the World Cup. If guys like Griezmann and MBappe appreciate him, that’s good enough for me. He won’t have the luxury of Pogba or Mbappe or Hazard laying things on a plate for him. Didn’t he fail to register a shot on target in th...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

He is way less mobile than Haller.
5 goals in 45 league appearances at Chelsea.

The Europa league is irrelevant.
He won’t be facing the giants of BATE, PAOK or Vidi.

He's a wonderful player. He has great vision and skill. I've seen him score some absolute beauties over the years.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

The current squad just reflects the wishes of past managers & their mistakes. And the over inflated prices. Sullivan might be a div but aside from Spurs everyone deals with us. He’s been in charge for 10 years and in that time we’ve bought & sold to plenty of English clubs. Cresswell Antonio Carroll...

Most clubs in England WILL NOT DO BUSINESS with Sullivan - the man in charge of our transfer policy.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Full back & an attacking option, then we can start talking about how we stay up.

Purely an educated guess but I’d say the fella from RB Salzburg and then we wait for Piatek to make his mind up.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Yeh I’d assume Rice +another (Diop?) will be gone in the summer even if we stay up. There’s a hole in the accounts needs filling & Rice offers £60m straight profit to fill it. In theory I have no issue with the idea if you are replacing him with (for example) a £25m player. Problem is we’re not very...
