Is Kudus suited to this role though? He looks more like an attacking forward to meEl brooko79 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2024 4:56 pm If the unthinkable happens and Paqueta leaves, I want (demand) Kudus as the central AM, Bowen back on the RW then get in a LW and CF.

Consistency is the men against the boys, he isn't at that top level yet, but a brilliant player he certainly is.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
The board all like Moyes so fully expect him to be offered a 2 year deal end of the season. There was no threat at all of a sacking in January, they all believe he is experienced enough to get out of any perceived down turn in form, as he has done before. Whether we like it or not the board like th...

Re: West Ham Utd V Burnley: match thread - 10.03.24
I don't understand the calls to rest players until next Thursday. We couldn't get a result against Freiburg last night, who's to say we don't get a result against them in the return leg as well. This is a big game regarding our league position and the chance to consolidate in the top 7 is too good ...

I think Antonio will start personally, not sure in place of who though.EastleighHammer16 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 08, 2024 10:53 am I can't believe people are expecting mass changes. We will play pretty much the same team as we always do. Emerson is probably injured so he won't play. Phillips will probably come in for someone and that'll be it.

Re: West Ham Utd v Burnley - Official Match Thread
If Moyes was to go against the grain and play a couple of youngsters + squad players in a big change, do you think he would be heavily criticised should we not win?

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024
Will Steidman and whoever a new manager should be know enough about the homegrown players we will need to sign ? Surely this is a major issue when choosing whether a change of manager is required?

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
I wish he had signed a new contract in January, so we could plan for next season as well as this. If he does leave at the end the season, I'm not looking forward to seeing who replaces him , in fact I'm dreading it.

Need a win here to get back on track, back to basics and what helped us get into a great position in the league please. Paqueta back would be a great start.

Winning games obviously eases pressure, back to back wins and the situation completely changes, easier said than done of course, sadly every game we lose the pressure intensifies via social media.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
I'm wellk over 40 Moyes is not good enough to even lace Lyall's or Greenwoods boots up, at least we had a go during bad times-now we don't even have a go. Hmmmm, wasn't it always said we never used to turn up for games North of the Watford gap? I've been a few old players meetings, and the likes of...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
Just looking back on team line ups from December 2023 winning sides. Sometimes Dinos and Oggie, sometimes Capt Kurt and Aguerd. Midfield also varied. Looks like the only absentee from then is Paqueta. Surely one player cannot make that much difference. I think it's quite obvious he does, our result...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
Well Paqueta better get fit ASAP, without him we offer very little if any attacking attempts, thank god he didn't get injured the same time last season, we would probably have been relegated. Next 3 games are vital for Moyes, he has to find a winning formula, I really want him to, I echo the January...

Re: Nottingham Forest v West Ham United : match thread
Awful watch again, back to basics imo, no more Kudus left, Antonio nowhere near ready, not blaming them, but we have to go back to how we was winning games before January.
