HotY (April Update)
My vote will be going to Tomas Soucek. Not the best technically (lovely goal at Everton mind you) and sometimes the action seems to be going on around him but if there's one player coming off the pitch with a split lip and a headache it's our Czech maestro. Surely if he doesn't win he has to be top ...

Re: Cup Games Vs League Games
Unfortunately money talks and they're trying to cram as many games in as possible.
My favourite FA Cup memory was standing on the South bank for the Everton qf in 91.
Cheek by jowl that night !

Re: The good ol' days of the old grounds
My second ever game at Upton Park was the Wigan FA Cup match when Dev suffered that horrendous leg injury. Bloody awful game settled by a Tonka penalty. I never went to Springfield Park but I've heard about the stories.

Re: ✍ Welcome James Ward-Prowse
JWP has run more than any other PL player this season.
This seems to have gone under the radar.
We like hard working players at West Ham and he's right up there.

Re: FA Cup replays scrapped
It's only tradition and the oldest club competition in the world.
Leave the bloody thing alone.
Middle aged man takes umbrage to rule change but there we are, my view.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
As with so many things you can look at the two legged tie v Bayer Leverkusen in different ways. Moyes got the team going last night, especially in the first half but maybe being a bit ' standoffish ' in Germany cost us the tie. The thing is, if we can play like we did last night with a threadbare sq...

Re: Crystal Palace v West Ham Utd - Match Thread
I think a draw would be a very good result. Not in terms of a European push but certainly in relation to the fact that there will be some very tired limbs on show at SP.

I'll take the 1-0 mate. 0-0 with 20 minutes left and we would still be in it.Bubbles Fortuna wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 8:51 pm I really think we needed to be 2-0 up by half time. Still time.
