No but I quickly substituted "my road" for "high street" because of the fact there's a primary school a few doors down from mine.

Re: thursday's gossip 6th january includes west ham updated

Cheers CH  Don't get why people are slagging sidwell off? while none of us know exactly what has gone on, the fact that sidwell had already turned wolves down to join us but has since then ( allegedly) gone back to wolves and decided to sign for them tells me he is most likely sick to death o...

Re: Newcastle Utd v West Ham Utd: match thread

In reference to speculator's boredom with knee jerk reactions, yes you do get them but let's be honest, nobody can find anything to praise or be content with last night. Watching these players put out such a weak and lacklustre performance against a Newcastle side who even the most loyal of Geordie ...

Re: West Ham Utd v Man Utd: match thread

What a fantastic result and I'm so pleased to see that the lads actually played as a team. Obinna terrified them at times, Spector took responsibility from the word go and morphed into a temporary Parker clone while our defence was steadier than I've seen them in quite some time. While my Manc suppo...

Re: Liverpool vs West Ham United: match thread

We are making them look like world beaters when they have been dire all season.

Words fail me for how much this hurts now.

Re: Arsenal v West Ham Utd match thread

Some of the knee jerk reactions and the ridiculously childish in-fighting on here is why I barely ****ing contribute here anymore. That was a brave performance today against a class outfit that are in the mix for the Premiership Title. They succumbed at the end sure but you know what, at least they ...

I need to post here more again, I miss the banter ;)

That pro-Zola agenda is understandable though, cute like a puppy dog that you just don't want to see kicked. :D

Re: Our future manager?

Maclaren has gone to Wolfsburg , so I would expect the next move to be Alex McLeish to resign as Birmingham Manager , citing a lack of funds , contrary to Carsen Youngs promises etc . The board will know his contract inside out, the release mechanisms and the costs . They've worked with him before ...

Still on a high although exhausted as well, how appropriate that our top performer got the goal to see us through :)

Too tired to pick faults in the performance at the moment, just relieved that we get to do all this again.

Re: wedensday's gossip 14th april includes west ham

Thanks for that CH. I think to the guys saying "not another midfielder", there's probably unfortunately a good reason for this. Regardless of what happens to us this season, Scott Parker will be off I would imagine so that would leave a space for O'Hara to come in. While not in the same cl...

Re: West Ham Utd vs Sunderland: match thread

I think we can all agree that regardless of our situation by the end of the season, we need to get in a player whose natural position is at RB. Spector is in fairness to him just doing what is he being asked to do because quite frankly there's no other option. As Dodger rightly said, the failure lie...

I don't buy into this whole "If Diamanti hadn't have played we wouldn't have scored X or done Y". Had Alessandro not played and an alternative player put in his place, how do we know that guy wouldn't have done even better than Diamanti? He seems passionate enough and he does have his mome...

Re: West Ham Utd vs Sunderland: match thread

Had to watch from home today after a migraine ruled me out. However chuffed to see Ilan in the right place at the right time again. We talked about unlikely heroes a while back, could the Brazillian be that man? Noble was awesome today and I'm so glad he's back in favour. Together with Behrami, the ...
