Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

Step one for Rashford before any club takes a gamble is get back to basics. Loose social media, drop the tv adverts, step back from the campaigns and focus everything on regaining the career that led to all those opportunities.

There’s time for non football after football…..ask Nobes.

Re: The kids are all right

Ashby and Chesters appeared to be the most favoured by Moyes. You could throw Perkins into the mix too. But he is still so young there’s less pressure for him to be ready now. Considering the season he’s had and the fact he’ll be 21 by the end of next season Okoflex is already arguably at the ‘will...

Re: Kevin Nolan Appreciation Thread

Now we are talking my favourite topic: Our coaching team have collectively contributed as much as our key players. They’ve developed average players into premier standard; they’ve shaped an average premier team into a competitive and consistent prem team; squad morale is high and kept near perfect, ...

I stand to be corrected, but forthcoming legislation will mean we won't be able to renew with Betway as betting company sponsors will be banned.
I bet you are right!

Re: Positivity Thread

Just take a moment to consider where we are with one game to go, and then recollect all the moments we could have picked up an extra point or points, and then compare that with the limited number of occasions when we hung on to keep what we had. My point being our collective glass could be over flow...

Anyone get the impression Sky want Everton to stay up? Balanced as always.
Who would have thought Everton fans would get behind them, and dressed in blue. Life, full of surprises !

Re: Welcome, Jarrod Bowen

Probably with all the focus on Rice, we should be keeping at least one eye on the Bowen situation m. Undoubtedly he will get a call up by Southgate in the summer, and also other clubs will give him a once over in terms of where he might fit in their transfer strategy. Or we just build everything at...

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd vs Manchester City: match thread

A great point and a reality check that spirit can compete with money, well at least for part of a game. We moan about our spend budget, but let’s just remember what the top four/five/six will have to spend. We are the ‘best value champions’ and I for one love that we cannot buy success. Let’s earn i...

Re: Welcome, Jarrod Bowen

Remember the kumb debate about 12 months ago?
Some questioned whether his finishing was good enough to lead the line?
Would he score the goals if Antonio got injured?

One of our best ever buys. Proof that championship potential can be converted.

I also go Lanzini versus Palace, but well done to our collection of centre backs who between them scored some absolutely essential goals this season.

West Ham United 4 - Manchester City 0

Vlasic (8, 45+2, 69), Noble (90+2); Sterling (79)
Assume VAR went with the bigger team as normal, and wiped out the Sterling effort given 4-0 result?

In the last few months he's won them the game tonight, goal + assist against Real, goal against Liverpool, only goal of the tie against Atletico, two goals and an assist against Man U, winner against Chelsea. Saw a stat before his 3rd goal that was something like 24 goals/assists in the last 26 gam...

Who took those 42 years? Where have they hidden them? Hard to imagine, but there was many an old grizzled ‘Ammer fans in the ground that day. Many of us still banging on about, but let’s also spare a thought for some great lads (and lasses) that are no longer here. We shared a great day, and loads o...

Re: Brilliant 34-year-old story behind the mutual respect between West Ham and Man City (non match thread)

Like some I still have a small soft spot for the Man C supporters, well, the ones that were there in the dark times, probably an age thing. I know a few other teams supporters that don't have the dislike for them like they do with Man U/Liverpool etc so I do wonder how long it will last due to thei...

Firstly, well done DL.

Completely agree a terrible day, and yes even watching on tv was a shocking experience. Imagine the impact on stewards and services present?

Thoughts and prayers to everyone affected. Sometimes sport isn’t the issue.
