Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

Could be two right backs - Coufal still not signed an extension, still weighing up his options. …………. Ah, fair enough, thought he signed short extension, but even if he has the only way to get a return if he wants out is to sell soon, but does he want out? Smells of agent ****. Personally, I would ...

Re: England -v- Brazil & then -v- Belgium

Taking Rashford to any tournament over Bowen would be a travesty. I agree. Rashford has done nothing since 2022’sh. He’s a shadow of his former self. If Southgate picks on general league form and particularly recent England games, I suggest Rashford can book his summer hols. To be clear, not spouti...

We’ve certainly got enough on the sideline throwing verbals at almost every player, manager and mascot.

Stop letting facts get in the way. Plus being a tv game they probably would only use one side etc. Costs massively outstrip prob revenue. Good luck ladies anyway.⚒️

A lot of talk up here about a youngster called Vardy. Out of contract soon. Possibly better than Saha and Wilson both recently mentioned on Kumb. He’s raw, but not as old as Digne if I am right, so still hope he could improve.

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

Our lens is West Han though and all too often there is a call to give these kids a run out in a team challenging for the top 6 in the best league in the world. . . Players capable of playing at the very top quickly make themselves known. None from our academy have as yet stood out as being able to ...

Re: Leicester charged with spending breach

Living up here in the east mids, I had a good chat with my male nurse this morning about setting up a mini league of midlands clubs who have/ will have had points deducted. A variation on fantasy football. So Forest -4, Villa -6 and Leicester -5 , but Northampton will get +10 as they’ve spent nothin...

I agree with some, whilst the flag change on ours is unnecessary, and inappropriate, the bigger issue is: Another giant US company dominating the market (see Germany next) giving them market dominance to charge what they want. It’s not good for society. The only argument for ditching more local prov...

Anybody listen to the topic on talks*&£ regarding Chelsea fans and their letter to the board claiming toxic…… Jordon ripped into the supporters group. Then a 70 year old Chelsea fan came on and, in his opinion, said Chelsea have too many plastic fans who only come when the club is winning. This ...

Re: ✍ Welcome, Kalvin Phillips

He didn’t get much of a chance correct but the rare game he did start, the drop off in quality was quite alarming. They say it’s all about opinions, but I have to disagree ….imo Not suggesting he should play for England, but his work rate, short passing and tackling were average prem standard at wo...

And me, but I acknowledge he wanted out so no point keeping on our bench. We should have persevered with him as he had something that we need……..legs that move.

At least if it's standing only it rules out about 90% of Bondholders 😀 Steady, I often took my boots to games in a bag, with coffee and digestives, just in case they needed me to play. I was probably in my early seventies, but my turning circle was legendary 😉 Enjoy the game if you go. I miss it, b...

If Moyes wins every game left this season, which he clearly won't, and that includes winning the Uefa Cup, which we won't, i would still want this to be Moyes last season...>Thanks but thats enough, youve done great and been a real mixed bag but thats it done. …. The draws against Sheffield Utd and Burnley will come back to haunt us. Plus, the Europa League is bound to have an effect. ……. Re: West Ham United v Aston Villa: match thread (17.03.24)

….. above … There is definitely a bias (with regards to the BBC commentary). My extended family made exact same comments when we spoke yesterday. MOTD started at circa 11 minutes with Villa’s first attack. In reality, we came out and piled in for 10:55 mins and nothing shown of it. This on a day wh...

If any large corporate stops paying its suppliers, especially the elite suppliers, then the large corporate will decline and lose their market share.

Pay up you greedy bas*&£# and stop paying agents so much whilst you are at it.

I think we should probably look at this loan for Marshall more like a work experience placement than a loan for minutes. He'll be training with their first team squad all the time, so he'll be getting a good idea of where he stands relative to his rivals up front and will know from experience what ...
