Re: West Ham for sale *Now Officially Taken Over*

Those of you worried by the disappearance of Trap, this should smoke him out..... Leading sports PR agency, PHA Media, has been hired by West Ham United Football Club to deliver a 12 month consumer campaign. The move prompts a return to Upton Park for PHA Media Chairman and West Ham fan, Phil Hall, ...

Re: James Collins or James Tomkins ?

Tough one this. Upson obviously starts on Saturday. Does he get partnered by Tomkins who will most likely play 90 minutes tonight or by Collins just back from injury who looked very rusty against strikers far off the physical abilities of Cisse/Jones at the weekend?

I'd go with Tomkins.......just.

I think he's gone back to Orient for the rest of the season. More likely to see N'Gala on the bench as an option at right back.

Re: Savio - signed

The player can have their surname or the name they are commonly known by on their shirt. Hence Brazilians being allowed things like 'Ronaldinho' and 'Kaka', whilst Neil Ruddock's request to have 'Razor' was turned down as it was just a nickname.

Both those players would walk into the Swiss side.
And all 4 would walk into Ugandas midfield. Surely the question would be would any of them get in ahead of Behrami? Maybe Poulsen, doubt it on the other two.

Official confirmation is being held up due to a problem with the O/S according to some guy on WHO. These links would suggest he's right....... http://www.whufc.com/page/News/0,,12562~1533805,00.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; http://www.whufc.com/page/News/0,,12562~1533...

He's taking the piss out of someone else. Someone called him a '****ing bullshitter' on another thread then asked for any news on the sale of the club on this one.

Re: Kia, Sheff Utd, Duxbury, McCabe and arbitration

Why would the football league investigate something they don't have a rule against? Rule C1 (b), clause 3 states: 'No club shall enter into a contract which enables any other party to that contract to acquire the ability materially to influence the club's policies or performance of its teams in mat...

Doubt it.

I'd like it if we signed him and kept him out of the way for a few weeks to let him get settled then unleash him against Boro.

True if they read KUMB. Re: Savio

Well someone needs to get it clarified. Alan Curbishley said 59% of the turnover and it doesn't take einstein to work out our wages. Maybe Scott could let Jase know. Stop press: The Independent confirm Savio is not going to cost £10m despite an article from Jason Burt stating it was. I see where yo...

Turnover is expected to be around £100 million and last time around was £57 million. We pay between £50-60million on wages and our CEO told Curbs our wage to turnover figure was 59%. Since then we've made further reductions. I look forward to debating this come the accounts. Source on the turnover ...

I agree with both of those points. Don't think he's got the power/allies within the club yet to push them into accepting that kind of offer.
