Re: Times we were really rubbish.

As a teenager, going in to school the morning after loosing 6 nil to Man Utd in the FA Cup was awful. I was in old Trafford for that game... Gary Breen had an absolute mare & being Irish I got deserved abuse, we & he were truly awful but in fairness to Man U, they were class..! We are bette...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

Martial refused to play or even to be on the bench for a game of football..? He's a footballer being paid 300k pw to play football ffs... I don't like Man U but I hope they dock Martial at least a months for being a dick... Footballers take the p!ss, in any other walk of life that'd be a gross misco...

Re: Is now a good time for the season to be suspended?

It would give me even more pleasure if we went onto win something because of fixture congestion. The thing is Tezza, I think Moyes is rubbing his hands in glee over this situation... All of our top 6 competitors are postponing games leaving us with points on the board... We gassed at the end of las...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

I'm surprised we haven't brought Hlozek in. Would have thought that would be easy to facilitate and he fits what we need quite well. Perhaps Moyes doesn't rate him, and doesn't think he can play up front for us or make an impact from the wing. Onuachu is pony. Sparta are only 3 points behind Slavia...

If they fail to play, dock them points and - as much as it pains me - award Spurs a 3-0 win.

Re: ✍ Alex Král

I personally think Lanzini suits a high pressing team much more than Kral who, let’s be honest, looks a bag of nerves everytime he gets the ball. How do we know though..? He was shaky the first 15 mins of the Man U cup game but that was the first time he'd kicked a ball in anger in ages, felt he gr...

Mark is out for at least a month with a knee injury & Tomas is getting over Covid...
If Moyes doesn't play him on Sunday we'll have our answer...
If Lanzini gets the nod in midfield ahead of him against a high pressure attacking team he'll never get a shot baring a catastrophic injury crisis...

Why not let Kral start this one? He needs to play some. And Rice needs to pace himself.
I suspect if he plays too many matches we will have to buy him & Moyes has already made his mind up...
No other reason why he doesn't start unless he's injured...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

I said a while ago (and a few times since) that I can see Moyes making Traore work as a like for like with Antonio. Questionable end product as a winger, but scares the life out of defenders and is only 25 years old. Easy to forget that Antonio was 25 when we signed him from Forest. He was nearly a...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

Ivan Toney must be about £5m-£10m now rather than £30m. Armstrong, last year's Brereton. rarely starts for Southampton. Ivan Toney is the natural successor to Zaha at Palace... Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

The other thing about Lingard that causes concern to me is his agent/brother who seems to be a bit of a tw@t... Jessie is his cash cow & as this will probably be the last contract he signs as a top level footballer, his brother will be trying to milk it for all it's worth, he knows if Jessie goe...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

Jessie Lingard is older than Lucas Digne... Lucas Digne is in his late 50's by all accounts... Jessie Lingard wants 200k pw and a min 4 year deal at this stage of his career, meaning in 4 years time when he's ****, even older & probably, (at his age), will have dementia but still be paid 200k pw...
