Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend ?

If Man U were to sign him up tomorrow as their new deep lying midfielder, and he performed for them as well as he does for us (the odd off day as everyone has, but a solid 8 out of 10 every game), do you think he would get called up to England for the next squad? Of course he would, saying that Car...

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend ?

It's strange, i think some people love him because he came through the ranks but others overlook him because of it. If we had signed him from barcelona and he played some of the football he does, people would be raving. Also feel that team orders the last 3 seasons have held him back. You have to l...

Re: Favorite games in the last 12 years?

Although I haven't played a game for about a year and the Xbox 360 is just used as a DVD player for my little one these day I love Gears of War 1, 2 & 3 on the 360 But Gears 1 with four mates against 5 yanks starting at 10pm on a Friday and not finishing until 3am Saturday morning can't be beate...

How does the control fare against those old analogue joysticks?[/quote]

Personally I love the Xbox controller but I know loads that don't, when I play it on the Amiga I use the Sega Megadrive 6 button pad, the d-pad is up there with the best of them

Re: Sensible Soccer

Cheers Craig, I'll have a good look at that when I get a bit more time! I did grab a version for the PC where the players all had big heads(?) but it never felt the same as playing on a original 16-bit system. Yeah the big head version was shocking (sensible 2006) the one on the Xbox is the classic...

Re: Sensible Soccer

Sensible World of Soccer = Best football game ever. I have it still on my Amiga 600, Season's 95/96 (with update disk) & 96/97 are by far the best, the amount of fights me and my brothers friends had over this when we use to do Sensible competitions! :D Although if I play it now its on my Xbox 3...

Re: Little things that irritate you

Two things that annoy me that I noticed over the weekend is that my wife never remembers the channel number on sky, cue her putting the guide up and scrolling through for ages, that and never watching the bloody HD channel that I pay for and tells me to shut up if I say 'watch it in bloody HD the st...

Re: West Ham Utd v Man Utd: match thread

Why, in the midst of probably our best cup performance in 20 years did our support start singing for Parker and DiCanio? Is Spector's lazarus like performance not enough that we still need to call for Parker? Is Obinna's 4 assists and excellent all round game so bad that we have to call for DiCanio...
