Re: West Ham Utd v Tottenham: match thread

Looking at the Spurs You Tube they seem to think they should've won. Yes, they had more possession, but the other stats were fairly even. They have some of the most deluded fans around. Any chance of qualifying for Europe has gone with the last 4 results and I don't see us getting past Leverkusen a...

Re: West Ham Utd v Tottenham: match thread

Thought a draw was a fair result. Watching from a bar in Essex where we slightly outnumbered them, my reflection on the game is that we now have a team which, player for player, is as good s theirs and we have 3 or 4 attacking players (post-Kane) better than them. They grumbled a bit - more posessio...

Re: Newcastle Utd v West Ham Utd - Match Thread

Whilst the capitulation after their second penalty was very disappointing to say the least, we were CHEATED again today. Both of the penalties awarded to them were clear fouls by Gordon, who on neither occasion made no effort to play the ball, but just stuck his leg out between the ball and the defe...

Re: ✍️ Welcome Lucas Paquetá - Our Brazilian Magnifico

I'm not sure where they got the rumor from but according to Hammers Chat yesterday Paqueta would be happy to stay with us next year under the condition we sign Ivan Toney of all people. Not even a fellow Brazilian. I find the whole thing odd but if that's what it takes than spend the 50 million on ...

We have a great academy and the youngsters results bear witness to that.
Difference is that we havent given them a chance - its amazing what trust and belief can do to young players

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Genuinely feel sorry for the bloke. He's come in twice to save us from relegation and we've had a couple decent premier league finishes with him in charge. ... Good post. Moyes has done a decent job here and lifted a trophy, which had been a long time coming. He deserves far more respect than he is...

Re: Manchester Utd vs West Ham Utd: match thread

Unlucky to be down, played a lot better and look a lot more balanced, having Aguerd back helps the shape and playing out from back. Well done to Ben Johnson, playing really well for a Championship player :crylol: I reckon Moyes might stick Kudus right and would like to see KP on for Soucek - think w...

Re: West Ham Utd v Bournemouth - Match Thread

Alvarez, Soucek, JWP and Philips in the same midfield and you can't see any issues?? Really?? As I said, I wouldve personally played Ings. But if Paqueta had been fit, it wouldve been same formation as he has put out tonight and hed have played presumably instead of Soucek or JWP - Paqueta is more ...

Re: West Ham Utd v Bournemouth - Match Thread

See no issues with that starting line up other than it is typically conservative. Personally, wouldve started Ings rather than Soucek and gone 4-3-3, but I'm sure that is Plan B. As for the bench, mix of experience and youth, which is good to see. Bearing in mind, Aguerd, Antonio, Coufal and Paqueta...

Re: Sheffield Utd v West Ham Utd - Match Thread

We werent great, and arguably only deserved a draw, but no doubt we were robbed of 2 points by a series of very poor decisions in the last 15 minutes.
If we miss CL qualification by 2 points, we should sue Sheff Utd and the league for £30 million..

Hadnt seen the links to Rowe, but got a text from a Norwich ST holder last night , workmate of mine, who reckons the rumours are strong that he may be coming here.
Rates him as one of the best to come out of their academy in years and genuine Prem quality
