Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
Anyone know why the TVs in BML concourse were not on today? No one cares enough to check I expect. We went in a bit earlier than usual yesterday expecting to be able to catch a bit of the Villa/Spurs game on TV, but as you say, virtually every screen was off. Eventually found a few turned on round ...

Re: TV Fixtures
Is Spurs locked in? There's no TV games yet but wondered if it was Amazon again. The club also emailing out saying TUESDAY. Cheers I wouldn't count on it. Some of the other games still listed for Tuesday definitely won't happen then as they involve teams who have had games moved to the Sunday before.

Re: Players you completely forgot used to play for us
Sasa Illic, although I think he was a short term loan and don't think he played much, if at all. Unfortunately because his one and only appearance was so memorable I won't forget it. Thrashed 4-0 at home by Everton and several of the goals were his fault. The sort of goalkeeping performance only su...

Re: TV Fixtures
Interesting that they're ****ing around with the Sunday timings. 1pm and 3.30pm instead of the usual 2 and 4.30. Manchester police insisting on it for the derby I assume. I'm sure they did the same thing with the first game this season, which forced us into a 1pm kick off in the early game beforeha...

Re: January transfer window
This guy get divorced recently or something? What a weird take. Loans between PL clubs have been around for 20 years. Why suddenly take umbrage at this particular deal? To be fair he hasn't 'suddenly' taken issue with this particular deal. He made the same point in 2020 when Ross Barkley went from ...

Re: January transfer window
Couldn't care less about his personality. From a footballing point of view he'd be a good player for us now (if fit), but the idea of bringing Wilson in on a multi-year contract on what I imagine will be pretty hefty wages seems like a recipe for disaster. Between him, Antonio and Ings we'd probably...

Re: January transfer window
Kalvin Phillips is nowhere near good enough to demand being an automatic first choice IMHO We shouldn't just be used as a platform for him to keep his England place It's a no from me He absolutely is in my opinion. And if he's motivated to play well, then I'm not too fussed what that motivation is....

Re: January transfer window
I'd be delighted if we even signed one player who you'd consider a genuine first teamer. Expectations are 'we tried' and/or a Sully special loan deal.

Re: January transfer window
Leeds interested in signing Johnson on loan, according to the Athletic. Can't see how we'd do that having already let Kehrer go, unless we've got someone else coming in.

Re: Other Matches 4 Jan-7 Jan : FA Cup 3rd Round
From a West Ham perspective we could do with Liverpool getting their act together and winning this. If they win the cup, then the Conference League spot will drop down to the Premier League. The other three teams left in the tournament will likely take the spot themselves.
