Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

nothing to do with him as a bloke..he can't go full tilt for more than one game a week.. and he really can't do, or ever could do much but head the ball clear... yep, he's a Moyes player, but watch him pass the ball, other than his defending capabilities, and he really can't. other than pass it 5 ya...

Re: Crystal Palace v West Ham Utd - Match Thread

our squad reminds me of some old bloke who, wanting to do one last "fling" with some young skank, needs a quick supply of that blue pill..

only to find out that we are in the less than one percentile that it doesn't work for.....

Re: HotY (April Update)

Bowen Kudus Areola Interesting that Paq man doesn't have a vote in anyone's top 3 yet. Timing I suppose, before the Leverkusen game I imagine he would have been mentioned? nah, as much as I really, really loved to watch him play and how at times he made us "tick' he wasn't as consistent (for m...

Re: ✍ Welcome Tomas Soucek

I must've missed that! Anyone got a clip or image? think it came as part of a triple yellow. one for Bowen who (lip reading and it wasn't difficult) said "he's a ****ing joke" to which Tomas (iirc) went over and pretty much embellished that, then Zouma went over to talk to the ref who was...

Bowen
Kudus
Alvarez

but a very special mention to both Areola and Fab...... who because they didn't exactly "win" games absolutely kept us in them a load of times....

CB's are going to be a problem I fear.

Mav injured for last night, Aguerd comes off as well, leaving only Oggie who is fresh and Zouma off of a full 90 on a Thursday night......

today, of all days, would have been a great chance for the board and/or Moyes to confirm a new contract had been signed. were it going to be so.......

we don't have to wait until the last game of the season.....

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

I think Sully is an eejit, but... The one thing he did right was the sale of Rice. Arsenal thought they had him in the bag for 80 mil. That was their offer. Putting it out there he was for sale to the highest bidder got top dollar for the club. Disgusting timing, obviously..! But ultimately, correc...

I watch loads of La Liga games and he (that I can remember) hasn't been like that. he's usually a pretty good ref.

puzzled as to why he was a polar opposite of what he normally is. (iirc)

Well that's ok then. If we want to stand for decency we really ought to treat people decently. People bang on about the working class nature of the club and the fan base when it suits and yet treat a decent, honest, hard working guy (who incidentally delivers memories most of us thought we would ne...

Re: Today's celebrity death is...

had to read a bit about him yesterday the name was really familiar in my mind but couldn't exactly remember where from.

sadly amazing that two band members died young in a motorcycle crash, think it was 3 years apart, in very close proximity to one another.

What Gentleman's agreement's that ? . And what gentleman's that ? That gentleman, Sullivan ? nah, the same one where we agreed with Rice in January of last year he could go toddle over to Arteta's gaff for a cozy chat to discuss personal terms for when the very day after our win in Prague, Sullivan...

https://twitter.com/notpaul1985x/status/1781376244363218955?s=46 This video made me quite emotional to be fair. I think it’s personally time for a change but some of the vitriol he’s received from certain sections of the fanbase is a disgrace. one reason, a BIG one as it happens, I don't do any kin...

That Koussonou bloke that got the hook after 30 last night was their big signing two years ago.....
and I'm still not sure where he was aiming or who he was aiming it at, that Soucek nodded down to Bowen to set up the goal....
