Re: Cricket English Summer 2021 + Ashes

Harry Brook needs to stay in St Lawrence’s Gap and not show up Saturday or Sunday.

10 off 13 when needing 2 a ball, he wasnt even playing and missing. He was genuinely nudging for singles.

Arnautovic. Was it his debut when he elbowed someone to get sent off?

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

This mentality of patience and to not worry about finishing 8th this year whilst being 4th up until 4 days ago is ludicrous.

It’s like waiting 10 minutes for a train when there’s one on the platform already.

Re: Has football ever been more corrupt?

If there’s any doubt in anyone’s mind that there’s corruption towards the scum 6, just look at last weekend. Cavani’s ‘offside’ wasn’t even checked whilst Jota’s penalty claim was watched from every possible angle for several minutes at all different speeds to see where t was possible to justify giv...

I do love that the media are more interested in Boris’ birthday cake than Russia on the brink of starting World War 3.

This year’s been a shitter already.

It seemed inevitable that eventually Isla might lose her brave fight but it’s still tough to read. RIP beautiful girl.

Definitely will be hugging my son a little tighter tonight.

Interesting to see Psycho's comments on Lingard. If the barcodes really are offering that level of silly money I can't see him turning that down.

Apologies for talking about transfers in the Wayne Rooney thread.
He’s 1/3 to go Newcastle.

Traore is 1/20 to go to Spurs.

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

Wow, I posted an actual transfer rumour 3 pages back and it seems to have got totally missed among a load of debate about Rooney and Everton. I saw it mate. Made me think whether Aspas would be a good stop gap for now to allow us to sign a proper forward in the summer. Like how Everton signed Roone...

Moyes did spend some of the Rooney money. I recall, he signed that bloke, wide left, can't remember his name now, but Billy, something or other. If it wasn't Billydinho, it was something very similar
Bilyaletdinov. Close enough.

Re: ⚽ Manchester Utd vs West Ham Utd: match thread

Utterly gutless performance. Full backs have all be shocking.

Bottled it against an average Man United team. League season is dead.

Red Manchester are more likely to loan Lingard to Newcastle than us are they not? We're a threat to their league position and Newcastle aren't.
A club like Man United would be better off seeing Newcastle relegated than worrying about us finishing above them for one season.

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

Looks increasingly likely that Lingard will hang on until the summer.

At which point it’ll come down to which league Newcastle are in and whether we need him or not.

Are you disgusted that we won 3 out of the 4 games since the window opened (two of them without conceding)?
Leeds in the cup and Norwich at home? That’s some feat.

Moyes isn’t immune to criticism, he doesn’t need constant defending. Antonio dead on his feet Sunday and us losing was on him.

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

Be honest, you're more disgusted that there are no leaks coming out of the club and we're not getting flodded by comments and radio interviews by our chairmen about which players we're bidding for right now and our offers got rejected. Nope used to complain about that and called ExWhuEmployee out o...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window

It’s pretty disgusting that we entered this window with three of our four first choice defenders injured - two of which we need to replace sooner rather than later anyway - and only one striker on the whole squad and we’re still yet to make a signing for 20th January. It’s poor from the recruitment ...

Took for granted how many great goals I saw from the front row of that stand in the 30 years I say there.

Di Canio, Sinclair v Derby, Benayoun, Ferdinand, Payet and even Thierry Henry’s in 2002.

Re: The Johnson Government 2019-2024

PMQs shows why he’s still PM. Starmer utterly useless and ended up getting embarrassed himself.

Blackford much more scathing and effective than and Starmer but he’s wholly unlikeable.

Unless his own party turn on him, Boris is pretty untouchable.

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Leeds Utd: match thread

That's not what people would have said if they beat us in the Cup. No way of knowing how that game ends if he didn't play, he did set up the goal at the end to seal the game. I said it at the time and after the game. I wasn’t happy with that team selection with 3 games in 7 days. Moyes should have ...
