Re: Sam's ear

Whatever your thoughts on the playing style Sam was an iconic manager in our history and the ear cupping was pretty hilarious banter taken in the wrong way by fans if you ask me. He was a no nonsense manager that got us promoted for the first time of asking and kept us in the prem for the following ...

Re: England -v- Brazil & then -v- Belgium

I never understand why anyone from the UK(assumption not withstanding) would prefer to see a Polish team for example, qualify over a 'British' team Think it's most likely because Wales and the Wales fans have a hatred for England. Most likely because they are aware of their complete irrelevance as ...

Re: Nottingham Forest Deducted 4 points

Is there a fine attached? Remember we got stuffed for £24m over Tevez etc, the PL could do worse than fine Forest, Everton, Chelsea and City on top of the points deduction and sprinkle the cash down the divisions. We weren't fined £24M by the PL over the Tevez saga, it was something like £7.5M and ...

Re: UEFA Europa League 2023-24

Got to beat the best to be the best as they say. Liverpool were the “must avoid” team, and that is the case all the way to the final should we get there. Second leg at home too. Hopefully this sort of tie recreates the Sevilla atmosphere of the last Europa run. The turnout last night was poor in te...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Just a question to mainly the Moyes in. Do you believe Mr Moyes can take us forward over the next few years or has he met his limit and your happy with that ? I think for most Moyes inners it's a realisation that we have reached our limit under DM, but the prospect of Sulli hiring the new manager m...

Has he really been that bad that some posters are making out?

Personally I think the system is all wrong for a player like him

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

As others have posted it definitely felt like the crowd around me were turning against Moyes in that first half.

We need to start positively against Freiburg on Thurs and hopefully we can get through to the quarters.

It does feel like the Europa is Moyes' swan song

Imo as long as the dwarf sticks around things won't be better for us than with DM at the helm.

We all saw what happened under Pellers.

Stick at least until Sulli ****'s off

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Moyes certainly has form for destroying creative players. It has happened too many times for it to be coincidence.I think creative flair is not remotely of interest to him and inherently mistrusts players who possess it.I think that, given time,he would possibly damage Paqueta and Kudus.Ward-Prowse i...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

He made Luke Ayling into a Premier League footballer, imagine what he could do with our lot? That’s the alure of Bielsa. A coach that believes he can make very player better and usually does. Bielsa would be a disaster here. His training methods coupled with the rush green train pitches would riddl...

If the coefficient holds, it's 7th,

And then if anyone in the top 7 wins the FA Cup, it'll be 8th.
So there's still a chance for Conference League next season :coolas:
