Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Watford: match thread
Benrahma (and Soucek) aren't suited to teams with possession, they thrive on fast transitions and chaos. Not the same players in games like this.

Re: ✍ Kurt Zouma
Zouma is significantly worse at LCB. At RCB he’s one of the best CBs we’ve had in years and years

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Watford: match thread
Just start Dawson at LCB. It’s not like his distribution could get worse. Zouma is a different beast at RCB

Re: ⚽ Kidderminster Harriers vs West Ham Utd: match thread
The side that started were good enough to beat a team from the 6th tier. We shouldn't have to start the likes of Rice and Soucek. Areola, Yarmolenko, Bowen, Vlasic, Benrahma, Zouma, all established internationals or Premier League players. Agree but personally I’d never not start Dec again. Overpla...

Re: ⚽ Kidderminster Harriers vs West Ham Utd: match thread
The silver lining in terms of future squad composition is that a lot of the issues from the squad players yesterday cease to be our problem in the summer with Fredericks, Yarmolenko, Noble, Kral and Areola all ending their contracts. So no concerns about selling-to-buy this summer, there should be ...

Re: A reflection on todays game.
My fury at the performance was overwhelmed by the pure relief of not having to watch replays of this game for the next forty years

If you're not a fan of Areola you're about to be in a whole new world of pain with Sam Johnstone.

Issa Diop getting spun against these. One of the worst defenders we’ve ever had

Re: ⚽ Kidderminster Harriers vs West Ham Utd: match thread
Send Yarmolenko to the eastern front. Bet he’d still try to cut inside on his left on the battlefields of Crimea

Provided he recovers decently he could extend his career by going back there. Wouldn’t blame him
Great defender. A proper organiser

Regardless of anything else our levels of fitness will be on another planet to these. I expect an absurd level of domination after the 70th minute. Hopefully we are already winning by then though

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend 500 up
https://mobile.twitter.com/rioferdy5/status/1488443363443494914 What a man this bloke is. Suddenly dawned on me that I might lose something when he retires. Supporting West Ham won’t really be the same. Granted I’m younger than him so he’s been there most of my life but still, after the awful Greenw...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window
He hasn't suddenly "taken that over" he never gave it up and there is nothing in the club statement (that has quotes), about him negotiating deals. As I said his role is to work with the manager to identify targets So Rob Newman has come to West Ham just to be a scout? Why would he bother...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window
You reckon Sully let's anyone else do the deals, how long have you been here? His job as was the bloke before him is to find targets, there is only one bloke at the club who does the deals Well I’m pretty sure when he was announced it was said that as Head of Recruitment he’d also be negotiating de...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window
Who are the players available that Moyes should have signed Chadwell? And do you also know what the budget is? You can’t say I have no idea what our budget is then ask what players I know were available. I’m sure quite a few, but it’s not my job anyway it’s Moyes’. My point still stands, this is Mo...

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window
As much as I would like to see that **** goblin Sullivan strung up, this is Moyes’ MO. We’ve signed at least one player every January window for the last decade. For most Everton fans it was by far his biggest pitfall Personally I believe the concept of only signing players better than your starters...
