Re: Season Ticket Renewals
We've got an aisle seat and the one next to it. Now we're moved nearer the corner and the two seats are now 13 rows apart! That phone line is going to be busy on Monday! You can see why this has come out on a Friday evening ........

I didn't sell mine, but it's worthless now.
1/3438 could be worth £175,000!

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
You'd save a lot by moving Athletics to Birmingham. But there would still be maintenance and future renewal works to pay for. The contract does put West Ham in a very good negotiating position as every year it gets worse for the Government.

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
It would make financial sense for the Government to pay West Ham to take the stadium off their hands. They might have trouble selling that idea to the public at this time.

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
... so chose front row seats of east upper, thought they’d be decent with no heads in the way for the little ones which there wasn’t. Unfortunately the two sets of rails at front of upper and back. Of lower meant these seats should be restricted view for 6 & 8 yr olds! They couldn’t see a thing...

PL rules say Away supporters must have some lower tier provision. Unless you are Newcastle.

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
The Brighton game is the first one with the 60,000 allocation. The general view was that the extra 3000 seats were scattered around the stadium and that the covered seats at the back of the ends behind the goals were the 6000 seats that would eventually take it up to 66,000. But I see they are now s...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
Pretty sure it was as it always is in Athletics mode. Corners taken out, front rows taken away from the straights and the stands behind the goal pushed back as far as they can go. I think before they moved the West Stand seats back, but this time they've left the bridges in place and just lopped of...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
Is it impossible to build a stadium where the roof covers everyone without posts to hold it up? Nothing to do with posts. If the rain falls vertically then you should be OK, but if there is any wind it will blow it in. Same at Wembley and many other stadiums. http://www.squawka.com/en/wp-content/up...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
Only a personal opinion but it's how it reads to me I don't think it matters how it reads to you, me or anyone else here. It's a mess. Take capacity - it says a minimum of 53,500. I think we started with 54,000 and then got it up to 57,000. Brady is saying we should have 60,000 and she wants more t...

Re: David Moyes: should he stay or should he go? [POLL]
I wasn't happy with his appointment at the time, but let's look at some of the stuff he has had to deal with and what he has done: * Got Arnie playing and scoring the goals that kept us up. * Had to play a back 5 because of our lack of defensive midfield cover. * Big improvement in defence at the st...

I'm sure if the person in the row infront was stood 3 ft further forward they wouldn't block your view ? To back up Wembley's diagram: https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4798/25853070807_a9befe28cd_z.jpg From the planning docs: "The moving tier configurations maintain the sightline to a minimum C-...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
If each row has a depth of 3 ft and the front row is 20 metres from the pitch (for example). What if they keep the back row where it is and made each row have a depth of 5 feet, wouldn't that make the first row a lot closer to the pitch, have the same capacity and not obscure the view from the top ...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
I may have imagined it, but I'm pretty sure I read on here that someone who either got the figures from a document or may have used Google Maps overlays said the nearest seat to the pitch (or centre spot) in the upper tier at the OS is further away than the furthest seat (West Upper top corner) at ...
