Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I think the only way we can play as we did last night is if we had the squad to do so. I doubt any team can go full pelt like we did in the first 45 for a sustained period . Even Klopp's heavy metal squad went as hard as we did last night. I agree with this. It takes physical as well as mental ener...

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

We just need a corner for Zouma/Ogbonna or Soucek to get on the end of.

Looks Maltese or Cypriot but he’s way out of his depth tonight.

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

Yes, he's brilliant but unpredictable, loses the ball in dangerous areas (which hasn't happened tonight) and must be hard to play off I'm starting to think his presence overshadowed J W-P. The latter is happiest when he's the main man - steps up, takes responsibility, shows his leadership. I'm hopi...

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

Not actually expecting it to but if by a miracle this goes to extra time our knackered starting eleven are going to have to watch 5 fresh players sprint onto the field. Hope the medics are close by or atleast he makes 1 sub I'm not sure half the bench will be allowed to stay up that late. School da...

Noticeable how much Earthy showed for the ball in his brief appearance.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

But nowhere have I said that he hasn’t been a success? Two things can be true I can appreciate the success we’ve had and where we’ve come from in the past few years, but also think now’s the time to go in another direction. This isn’t knee jerk, I said the tipping point for me was Newcastle away, b...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Any neutral fan looking at our squad would think it’s an overachievement where we are in the league - and despite finding matches very hard to watch I can’t do anything other than agree with them I kind of agree with this. The defence has been in freefall since the golden ear of uninjured Zouma and...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Doesn’t really matter if anyone did tbh, 19 games is a big enough sample since. Whether anyone blames Moyes or how much they blame him for is worth the discussion, but 4 wins in 19 isn’t good enough for us is it? 4 in 19 is crap. We've been rubbish this year. But you don't get rid of a manager on t...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Irrelevant really isn’t it, go back through my posts I’ve been consistent in saying that I’ll only remain pro Moyes if the poor style still yields results. It doesn’t any more does it? So we can sit here and do if’s and and’s all we like, the fact remains 4 in 19. My point is we get a lot of toys o...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I don't think Moyes got the team selection right today, though we're not blessed with options. My biggest concern is how lax the defense is, complete lack of concentration multiple times from both CBs, and how little the team actually seem to be commited. The effort isn't there at all. It's the man...

Re: West Ham United vs Fulham FC - Sunday 14 April - 2pm

That's not on Paqueta. He's trying to make something happen in the final third.

Johnson however was nowhere near the scorer.
