Noticeable how much Earthy showed for the ball in his brief appearance.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

But nowhere have I said that he hasn’t been a success? Two things can be true I can appreciate the success we’ve had and where we’ve come from in the past few years, but also think now’s the time to go in another direction. This isn’t knee jerk, I said the tipping point for me was Newcastle away, b...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Any neutral fan looking at our squad would think it’s an overachievement where we are in the league - and despite finding matches very hard to watch I can’t do anything other than agree with them I kind of agree with this. The defence has been in freefall since the golden ear of uninjured Zouma and...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Doesn’t really matter if anyone did tbh, 19 games is a big enough sample since. Whether anyone blames Moyes or how much they blame him for is worth the discussion, but 4 wins in 19 isn’t good enough for us is it? 4 in 19 is crap. We've been rubbish this year. But you don't get rid of a manager on t...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Irrelevant really isn’t it, go back through my posts I’ve been consistent in saying that I’ll only remain pro Moyes if the poor style still yields results. It doesn’t any more does it? So we can sit here and do if’s and and’s all we like, the fact remains 4 in 19. My point is we get a lot of toys o...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I don't think Moyes got the team selection right today, though we're not blessed with options. My biggest concern is how lax the defense is, complete lack of concentration multiple times from both CBs, and how little the team actually seem to be commited. The effort isn't there at all. It's the man...

That's not on Paqueta. He's trying to make something happen in the final third.

Johnson however was nowhere near the scorer.

I just don't understand when people say "why aren't we holding Moyes accountable"? Accountability for what, one of the best periods in our history? That's not how it works. He's only accountable when things go badly. Scammacca is his fault, Bowen Alvarez and Kudus are just us getting lucky.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Leverkusen and Xabi Alonso demonstrate what kind of football is possible with an almost no name squad. Nobody has known Grimaldo, Wirtz, Adli, Frimpong, Andrich, Hofmann or Boniface before. They show that an attractive and successful football is possible without having a capital like Manchester Uni...

We played the same way we did against Arsenal but without Bowen and Alvarez.

We very nearly pulled it off.

Ultimate Moyes. Final form Moyes. Moyesolution.

Actually I had a dream about it last night and we won 1-0.
I dreamt the same. Ogbonna with a right foot shot through a crowded penalty area.

So that's definitely going to happen.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I just don’t understand why he can’t be called defensive. He’s arguably been the best defensive coach in the league for periods of the last few years, and takes the crown compared to anyone else in the PL since his start here. It’s a good thing! I think the debate around Moyes becomes so heated is ...
