I'm not sure he was in the best of health. Condolences to his nearest and dearest.

Never met him but he's always come across as decent person. I've seen the trailers and will watch the programme shortly.

Re: ✍️ Welcome Lucas Paquetá - Our Brazilian Magnifico
Look, this was the player who in front of 60,000 West Ham fans made a great play of hugging the Man City manager before the bleeding game, couldn't even wait until afterwards. He might as well wear a half and half scarf. Great player, his pass to Bowen will live with me forever and he will definitel...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
At the moment,no. Other than the view which cannot be changed significantly due to the nature of the stadium, almost all other problems are in the clubs hands to solve. One phone call would solve them. Karren phones the Mayor and offers him £ 12m a year in rent. Sadiq khan is waiting for her call. ...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
Does the club have anything to do with employing stewards? I thought as part of the deal of the century Brady managed to shift all that responsibility onto the stadium operators. Just like the owners couldn't give a flying one about opposition fans in the home end they are certainly not interested i...

I took this from a dummy run to purchase a ticket for Aston Villa, clearly stats home support. Will be in the ticketing terms and conditions as well https://imagizer.imageshack.com/v2/xq70/924/8yxW1h.png [/URL This is from the terms and conditions for Season tickets Term 1.2 for [URL=https://imagesh...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
A short history lesson for those that need it. When STHs from Upton Park were relocated to the LS they were not allowed to chose an area in the stadium that was in a lower price band, only the same band as existing ST or a higher category. If you wanted to buy one of the bargain band 5/6 STs too bad...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
It matters if terms and conditions of entry into the home section at the London Stadium mean anything, but as usual West Ham pick and chose which terms they wish to stick too.

We qualified for the Conference Leahue on league placing. Nothing to do with fair play. We qualified for Europe under Bilic via fair play and then promptly got red cards in the opening 3 games.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
Sullivan is doing to Moyes what he did to Allardyce, some of us have been saying this as soon as he wasn't offered an extension last summer. Even the transfer window mirrored the last Jan window under Allardyce. Moyes knows this, the players know this. As badly performing as Moyes is at the moment, ...

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
What goods and services are included in a purchase are all part of the transactional decision a potential customer makes. They shouldn't really be changing things half way through a contract. It may be something Hammers United would like to contact Newham Trading Standards about once they have the n...

I did as well. I thought Kretinsky would put the poison dwarf in his box but does not look like it.DublinDave wrote: ↑Tue Feb 06, 2024 4:35 pm It's nice to see this thread back on the front page near the top where it belongs.
SB&K out.
I had great hopes for Kretinski but he just seems to be another vulture.

Re: Tim Steidten - How should we assess his contribution?
Sullivan is more than capable of setting things up to fail. There was always an element of too good to be true about Sullivan stepping back and bidding a fond farewell to Barry and Will. Maybe I am being too cynical but it's a cynicism that is based on seeing how Sullivan operates for a long time an...
