Re: Zouma: Catgate

It's a first offence with guilty plea entered. No chance of Zouma having tax payer funded Airbnb

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

The club would not have budgeted for finishing 6th last season and they wont have budgeted for finishing 7th this. So where's the money? If Moyes claims he could have spent £50m in January, let's see him spend it and the rest this summer. We should have at least £100m available this window before we...

Re: Zouma: Catgate

Let's face it, no punishment is strong enough for a non dive at Stoke several years ago.

Lanzini should hang his head in shame

Re: Stuart Pearce leaves the club

With his non playing roles he's not really someone who stays anywhere for a great length of time. That's not a criticism of him at all, some people like having new challenges.

Re: Zouma: Catgate

I expect it will be dealt with promptly at the Magistrates court with a guilty plea. Hefty fine and a banning order. Maximum tariff is 5 years but there is zero chance of a custodial.

Look forward to some crypto or other unregulated outfit to be plastered all over the shirts, that seems to be the only level our marketing department can engage with.

Re: What were you doing 10 years ago today?

Got the train into Liverpool Street arriving around 9am and walked down to the Crosse Keys spoons on Gracechurch Street for breakfast and liquid refreshment. It's a vast pub and full of West Ham. Stayed there for a couple of hours and then walked to the Sainsbury's Local to buy some cans and then wa...

On paper the odds are in Burnley's favour but anything can happen last day. We might even beat Brighton

The shoulder stuff does look a bit weird but I'm sure it will look better in the flesh. Not that I'll be buying it.

Re: FAC / Weekend's Games

Quite an unseemly behaviour from the Sheffield United manager who rammed the ball into the midriff of a Forest player setting off a mass handbags at dawn. We had Prince Albert of Monaco at our game, they have to do with Joe Root and Stuart Broad. Anyway, Forest currently leading 1-0 so 3-1 up and we...

Re: Takeover talk

I would imagine that trying to unravel the hows and whys of multi national trading entities is quite a complex business beyond most of us and can imagine how speculation can become distorted once it's filtered through several sets of ears. I appreciate the input from people on here who do actually k...

Re: Champions Place stones at London Stadium.

I never bought a stone, but two of my friends did. The other week we went to look for them after the game, eventually finding them and they seemed in good order, as did the others around them. Are some sections affected in particular. I can understand someone being upset if it's faded away after on...

Re: Champions Place stones at London Stadium.

I did a fair bit of work on this when they originally started flogging them. It all started off on a bad footing when the company they were originally going to use (who I think did Arsenal's stones which are far, far better) went bust. As usual it was an ill thought out idea with pound signs the ove...
