Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

I feel like we've got great talent in the squad now, the subs are on a similar level to the starters and the individual quality has gone up a notch. We still haven't clicked though, the overall gameplan isn't flowing apart from in patches, but I think with such a big overhaul in personnel that's onl...

What he did tonight was very reminiscent of his Youtube highlights reel. Keep up the good work Flynn. :hamm:

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v FCSB: match thread

Yes Scamacca missed a few chances but what striker doesn't? I've been really impressed with him so far, he's got a great touch and a good footballing brain. I think he's got a lot of improving to do but we'll eventually have a special player on our hands. He was blowing after 25 minutes tonight, wha...

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v FCSB: match thread

How nice to be able to celebrate goals without the immediate 'Oh wait, what about VAR'?

Re: ✍ Flynn Downes

Agreed. Looks very similar to Declan in style sometimes and much more comfortable on the ball than Tommy.

We’ve got options to change things around in CM now which we didn’t really have last season without a big drop off in quality.

Still needs to keep working hard week in week out though.

Re: The Sack Race 2022/2023: Tuchel fired

Pat Nevin suggesting Emma Hayes for the job. Go on Chelsea, you know it makes sense….

So sorry for the that pathetic creature Tuchel and his team of cheats.

Boehly so far showing all the ownership prowess of Tony Fernandes. Never change Todd, never change.

According to some there was no chance of them even admitting their mistake but that’s now happened.

We ourselves had to replay a match once when the rules were broken so it should also work in our favour on this occasion.

Re: VAR Thread

The shocking thing about yesterday's decision was that it went completely against the agreed processes, 'clear and obvious error' being just one of them. I'd always been against people that claimed the game was corrupt and used to think of England as a paragon of fairness compared to the likes of It...

Re: ⚽ Chelsea v West Ham United: match thread

We can't just meekly stand by and let this happen.

Replay the match. Suspend the referee and his team from all matches and launch an investigation into what's happening.

Either that or just award the likes of Chelsea the 3 points in the first place and don't bother playing the matches.

Re: ⚽ Chelsea v West Ham United: match thread

Disgusting. This has to stop. The favouritism shown to the Sky 6 has got completely out of hand.

We need to lodge a protest and get the officials investigated.

This absolutely stinks.

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

Ola Aina has a bit of a strange CV. Chelsea Youth team, loaned out to Hull, loaned out to Torino, bought by Torino, loaned out to Fulham, back to Torino. 25 years old. Doesn't seem to have settled anywhere or be in great demand. Could do a Dawson and prove us all wrong or end up back at Torino in Ja...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

The right back situation is very confusing: We've been linked with RB Wan Bissaka in the past few days Today we've been linked with RWB Doherty We have Coufal, Johnson and Ashby who all play RB Kehrer can cover RB if necessary Ashby seems to be about to exit What conclusions can we draw from those ...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

If Chelsea get Aubameyang, they'll have Broja as their back up target man. They would be mad to let Broja go at this point. As I typed that sentence I realised it may just be possible then!

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

There seems to be a little chain of events between us, Villa, Wolves and Southampton at the moment.

We essentially want the same positions filled so may as well just leave everything as it is!

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

Bednarek in for Dawson makes sense.

Matt Doherty when we've got 3 right backs already, doesn't. Even if Ashby goes, we have Coufal and Johnson.

Re: ⚽ West Ham United vs Tottenham Hotspur: match thread

For all Conte's whinging about the non-penalty, what about the officiating for the rest of the game? The incident where three of their players handed the ball to each other before taking a throw on which was met by laughter from the linesman, wtf was that all about?? That in itself should be investi...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2022.

I wonder if it was a case of us being alerted to the availability of Dendoncker and that being turned into 'West Ham want a CM'. If we genuinely want a CM today, let's hope we've got an alternative lined up. I've no idea of Barkley's fitness levels or what kind of personality he is but he's always a...

Haven't Villa already got some big hitters in midfield?

I saw some speculation about Douglas Luiz yesterday, is he off then?
