Re: ⚽ Manchester City v West Ham United: Match thread (09/02)

Sterling is out injured and I think Zinchenko may be suspended. That is a plus. Hopefully DeBruyne, Aguero, Silva, Laporte, Mahrez, Cancelo, Ederson and Sane are all out too. We may have a chance against Bravo, Walker, Stones, Garcia, Otamendi, Mendy, Rodri, Fernandinho, Gundogan, Foden, and Diskerud.

Re: Protests against the board being planned

They simply have to go. No ifs ands or buts. Once upon a time Mukesh Amani epwas generally interested. Does anyone know if he still harbours any interest?

Re: 2019/2020 Relegation Thread

I think hanging on to Pellegrini for too long was an awful decision, I think if we get Antonio back to fill fitness, and Anderson and Johnson back, we should just stay up as Soucek and Bowen are a huge injection of quality. More importantly they will keep Moyes from playing Lanzini believing he is t...

Re: Protests against the board being planned

The board failing to buy proper full backs will be our undoing. The best f*** performance we’ve had this season was by Ngakia , and even that was full of flaws. As I said in the transfer window thread, Rasmus Kristensen would keep us up. Without a decent f*** on either flank we are going to be in re...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

We need at least two, preferably 3 in. Rasmussen Kristensen and Bowen would be perfect. Both are class, and if we get both, I’d give £50 to the BMF. If we’re Sullivan, I’d take the gamble and pay the money betting they’d keep us up. Both are young and promising so they would be ideal to build around...

Re: Welcome Tomas Soucek

He’s exactly what we need. He is an upgrade on Noble, allows him some rest, gives us more physical presence and will take a lot of the burden off Rice.
Rasmus Kristensen and a decent centre forward should see us safe.

Re: West Ham Utd v Liverpool: match thread

I am generally not a fan of defensive football, but with the players available, Moyes got his tactics spot on. With the exception of the Oxlade Chamberlain goal which was a cosmic disaster from Noble, Masuaku and Lanzini, we were very difficult to play against, and created the better chances. His on...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Soucek would be a start. We still need at least two more players, a right back, a striker and if possible another central midfielder, but one with more pace. I know it probably won’t happen, but if we could stretch to £15m or £17m for Matty Cash, wed be 2/3 of the way there. I know Piatek has better...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

I can see us getting out of this mess, but we require at least 3, probably 4 significant signings, and a fifth to be sure. If we can shift and underperformer or two we would need to sign 6 players. We are at least looking in the right direction with interest in Matty Cash and Tomas Soucek, Those two...

Re: Newcastle United decline to comment on takeover talks (non WHU)

I can’t stand the Saudi regime. Their barbaric stance on women , homosexuals, and all other types of humanitarian crimes..... I’d take them over G9ld and Sullivan even if they didn’t have any money.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

I think the biggest thing we need in this or any transfer window is a proper director of football. I’d bring in an experienced football president / director for the Woodward/ Brady role and Joe Cole in as deputy. Every tine he speaks, he comes off as having an understanding of football, of the premi...

Re: West Ham United v West Bromwich Albion: FAC4R Match Thread

I’ll be honest I don’t think we were that bad second half. First half was a different story. Lanzini , Balbuena , and Sanchez were awful, and Haller desperately needs a goal and sone confidence. I thought Moyes triple substitution was bold, but necessary and should send a message to the players and ...

Re: West Ham United v West Bromwich Albion: FAC4R Match Thread

I actually like using all 3 subs at half time. Sends a message, but it should have been Lanzini off not Fornals

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

We are beyond Gold and Sullivan’s penny pinching ways. The bet spend in the summer after we sold Chicharito was around £22m, they have saved around £11m in wages since the summer so really only a net spend of £11m. Milan are desperate to offload Kessie, Piatek, Suso and Ricardo Rodriguez. All 4 woul...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

f*** Kessie is available on loan. It is an absolute no brainer to bring him in, he may be a little inconsistent in the final 3rd, but box to box he is exactly what we need. Even if we have to put in some overpriced obligation to buy if we stay up it would be worth it. It may be worthwhile doing the ...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

We are in real trouble. Part of me hopes we don’t win tomorrow to scare Sullivan into desperation. The fact is we desperately need a striker, two central midfielders and a right back. It seems that we have been offered f*** Kessie on loan. If that is the case, it is a no brainer. Kessie’s final prod...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Bordeaux are set to loan out Raul Bellanova this month, HellasVerona, Sampdoria and Atalanta are all interested in a loan with an option to buy. He is exactly the kind of player we should be after. 6’1 right back who is good positionally, with good pace and is great on the ball with good delivery. I...

Re: West Ham United v Everton: Match Thread

It’s criminal that we have a 3rd string goalie, 5 defenders and one attacker on the pitch. 3 of the players on the bench haven’t played a minute of senior football this season.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

I actually think there is a decent chance we get Barkley. Chelsea have Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic, Mount, Willian, Hudson-0doi, and Pulisic in midfield or attacking midfield roles ahead of Barkley. Loftus-Cheek I ready to return from injury and will also be ahead of Barkley, and Chelsea are said to be...

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020

Wilko, I think we have hardworking players and players with talent. We also have players who are neither hardworking nor have talent. We seem to be devoid of hardworking players with talent, and we are also very light on graft/Strength, pace and leadership. The closest we have are Antonio and Fornal...
