Re: Man City (Non-WHU)

Back at the turn of the milenium, Le Real were in financial trouble but did a suspicious deal with city's council which saw the latter reclassify the non-commercial zone around their training ground in exchange for a share (what's the definition of a bribe?), which facilitated the sale of the groun...

Re: Are our players as good as we think they are?

It's a menatlity thing... all the players are good players, they're f'ing pro's. The probablem is the mentality of the club. It's stems from the top and trickles down. The main aim of the board is stay in the money league by spending as little as possible. What player is going to be motivated by tha...

Re: Ticket office login

I managed to re-register fairly easily... the verification email did go into my junk folder though. I would also advise people not to register with their social media accounts, as you know they will use it against you should you post anything anti-board. Supporting West Ham now is like living in Col...

Re: Away tickets 2019 / 2020 season

Love how they are are giving slots all the way down to 1 pointers now... a few tough games to get to in a row, many mid-week and over the Christmas\January period and now they are acting all scared that they won't sell out Arsenal away.

Re: West Ham Utd v Brighton and Hove Albion match thread

If I see Noble's name in the starting XI I'm going to vomit. Assuming the only player ready to be added is Soucek (so no Antonio or Fredericks) I'd go with: ------------------Fab---------------- Zaba----Diop-------Ogbonna-------Masuaku -------Soucek---------Rice--------------- --------------Fornals...

Re: West Ham Utd v Liverpool: match thread

Anyone who is defending Arthur obviously didn't go to Wigan away.... never forget, never forgive. We got all high and mighty about El Hadj Diouf, but some of our fans still chanting his name after that and add into the fact the guy is useless in the position that we signed him, left back. But he can...

I'll throw another one in there as the majority seems to agree the 147 is the hardest...

Re: FA Cup 4th Round draw

So have I. Karren promised us two. I'm not sure why we are all suprised by this.... "David and David, I've had a genius idea to fleece some more money out of those idiots. We'll say 'sign up for the auto cup scheme and get double points!' Then we'll get around 25,000 mugs that will fall for this, o...

Re: what pub have you been in today ? Rate it out of 10

There is one in Upminster now too so I believe. What's that like? That's been there a while, I went there a few years back when it first opened, you had to buy a cheese board or a sausage roll to be able to purcahse alcohol, as that was the only license they could get. Haven't been back as it was q...

Re: Sheffield away: travel and safety

I believe we were in the same hotel you were then.... most had been there all afternoon and it was actually a pleasant afternoon - no trouble, reasonably quiet, OB did turn up just before we left, but they seemed happy enough - i think Sheldon was sitting in an SUV in the car park but not sure as I...

Re: Sheffield away: travel and safety

When I arrived at my hotel about 5:30, there was a large mob of West Ham in the bar of the hotel. Old Bill were outside the hotel. At around 6:15 the lads all moved on and left and the Old Bill were basically escorting them then. I assume that they headed to The Graduate. We stayed in the hotel bar ...

Re: Away tickets 2019 / 2020 season

3 points? Did you mean 2 Marsh? Silly to start at 20 points, but they're being cautious after poor sales figures last season away at City. You can now earn 2 points per home cup tie if you opted in to the automatic cup scheme, so with Man City starting so low, some people can boost their points by ...

Re: Away tickets 2019 / 2020 season

And we're back to the club taking lower allocations If the people who moaned that they could never get an away ticket, actually took their chances that they've had over the past few away games the club wouldn't be scared of getting stuck with hundreds of unsold away tickets which cost them money. An...

Were very close last year, lost in the play off final and the EFL trophy, seem to have fallen off a cliff this year. Losing Maja hurt them a lot, as Grigg is on fire.
Corrected for you
