Re: Peter Grotier- BBC The Repair Shop
Thanks very much for pointing this out, Peter took my autograph book on what I assume this item relates to. Never got to thank him though in person as I was only 10 but my dad said he was a top bloke.
Hoping he shares some stories on the show about the game.

Think we’ll finish above villa and Brighton this year as I think they will struggle playing in Europe.

The only time I can think of is when we sold Paul Allen and bought McAvennie and Ward

Re: The Sack Race 2022/2023: Tuchel fired
Managing a lower end premier club to regular mid table is totally different to managing a club with big ego's and top 4 finishes as a minimum requirement.
Potter is a good manager but I doubt he'd get the time at Chelsea to prove himself.

Re: ⚽ West Ham United v Burnley: match thread
This wont be easy and we have a week before our next game. Three points is a must as we need to guarantee Europa League football next season via our league position. Rotate a little bit and rest a few after 60 minutes if we are a couple up :hamm: :hamm: Fabianski Johnson ... Dawson .... Diop .... Cr...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2021
People are so desperate they now seen a £15m fee and £9m a year in wages on Lacazette as good business because £9m is his current wage and why would he come for a lot less? I think he will come for less as no one will pay him 180k anymore also he'll be getting a loyalty pay off from Arsenal. Probab...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2021
I think we could do a lot worse (and we probably will do) than making a bid for Lacazette. Arsenal are looking to sell, £20-£25m should get him, scored over 15 goals last season. I think he'd be a better option than those mentioned and will score more goals. Obviously price may be an issue, it shoul...

Ok so first up, apologies to any vegans out there, I respect you choice but:- Was anyone else amazed to see a Vegan chef on the Great British Menu last week? Artichoke parcels for the fish course, Mushrooms for the main course!! I'm sure they tasted nice but imagine turning up as a meat eater to a B...

Re: Summer Holidays
I am looking at heading back out to Orlando/Florida later this year too. Going to book something last minute, although £780 return flights for 2 adults, 1 child and an infant on BA is very very tempting! Yeah I couldn't resist the low fares on the Virgin Atlantic sale so went for it and their Covid...

Re: Summer Holidays
Fantastic weather in Orlando at that time of year too. 35C but feels much hotter because of the humidity, crazy rainstorms twice a day & the peak of hurricane season :D Seriously though, not sure if you've been out that way but there's some nice little towns nearby. Mount Dora is lovely. Thanks...

Ever the optimist I've rebooked Orlando for 3 weeks at the end of September.
I'm expecting all of us to be vacinated by then and for Biden to have sorted out vaccinations in the US so almost everything is back to normal with some minor restrictions.

Re: ⚽ Chelsea v West Ham United: match thread (21/12)
Very flattering scoreline for them last night, I thought we were the better side for most of the game. Like most the Bowen goal should have stood and we could have had a different game. One thing that struck me at the time was the Havertz challenge on Fabianski. I was certain that he raised his stud...

Offer Spurs £20m for Ben Davis £25m max
They've just spent £30m+ on a left back and have SSesignon in reserve.
Need to some money to cover part of Bales wages?

I must admit I dont understand why after 2 games in 3 days after a long layoff why Yarmo and Jack weren't given 15 minutes tonight. They may not be fit but they wont get any fitter sitting on the bench. Play Yarmo down the middle and move Antonio out wide and see how that goes. Jack is supposidely f...
