Re: Premier League sack race
He done a job at Derby and I think he has a lot of potential and a lot of contacts etc Liam Rosenior did a job at Derby according to different sources. Rooney did a good job deflecting attention from his players, fair play. But there is absolutely nothing to suggest he is a good coach. I seem to re...

Re: West Ham United v Bristol City : match thread
100%. I agree. Full tilt, no rotation. The usual suspects minus Ings (Mubama takes his place) on the bench. And our most talented kids as well. Give them a run-out if we're up by a couple towards the end. Feel good all around. We absolutely have to go for the cups. Always. And a chance for the few y...

Re: January transfer window
Villarreal's possession based football was a horrible fit for him to start with. Odd signing at the time (freebie punt). I think this is a good move for both him and sheff utd. Young Archer doesn't have to carry the burden of scoring "all" the goals alone, poor boy. And he'd be a perfect f...

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
I think Martin Samuel had an interesting point. Paraphrasing but think this is the gist; Ok, resting players. So far so good. But resting players sends a signal to the regulars who are picked: "ok I'm kind of throwing this game, do your best". Surely it makes the picked players dropping th...

Re: Summer 2023/24 Transfer Thread
If the answer is Solanke, the question is clearly wrong.
A guy who we have seen for years without being particularly impressed, didn't exactly light the championship on fire, and for sure wouldn't provide us with enough goals in the premiership. It's as unimaginative as it gets.
Perfect for us then.

Re: ✍ Pablo Fornals
Not that much of a head scratcher if you think about it I'm probably being dense here, but how is that not a head scratcher? I scratched my head, but didn't get any wiser. Surely fornals gives us better balance than benhrama. It felt really lopsided today. Like it's something structurally wrong whe...

With the greatest respect Norway, eff that for a game of soldiers. You're quite right, we can't compete with the mega rich clubs for signings, but sod turning into another in the supply chain for, as you say, very good players to be sat getting splinters. " come and play for the mighty West Ha...

Re: Declan Rice
We'll never be able to compete with the sovereign funds and all else that is wrong with football. We should adopt Brighton's attitude: "come play for us, play like a world class player, and we'll never stand in your way when the silly money comes". Rinse and repeat. That makes a club attra...

A blow for Leicester.
According to Rodgers, terrible attitude in training since being denied a move last summer. Effectively wasted a year of his short career.

Re: Other Games April 21st-27th
I just want us to be safe so we can fully focus on Europe. Exactly this for me too, mate. I think definite safety would release loads of extra energy and swagger for a clearly talented team as well, increasing our chances to get the trophy we so desperately want and need. Bloody hell, I was four ye...

Pretty sure that "old Salty" isn't it? Indeed it is; Will Salthouse, joint-CEO of Unique Sports Group, said: “We are delighted to welcome ISMG to the Unique family and believe this joint vision will allow us to maximise our European network at a time when interest in UK-based players from...

A damning (almost personal) article on Moyes. A bit OTT, but a few facts in there which makes for grim reading:
