The 2019 film is also worth a watch though if you haven't seen it.LincolnshireHammer wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2024 11:10 am Have seen lots of good reviews for this.
Is it one of them where I'll have to watch the 2019 film for the current series to make any sense?

With the return of his hair comes the return of the goals.
I'd start him on Thursday.

Re: ✍ Welcome, Kalvin Phillips
Reminds me of a certain Wayne Bridge when we signed him on loan from City in the January transfer window. Maybe we should avoid signing players on loan from City!
Anyway, decent player but seriously lost his way and with what’s going on with the club right now it’s a recipe for disaster.

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
If he couldn’t get a reaction out of the players after last week then I’ll go as far as saying he has lost the dressing room.
Such a shame, if he left now before things turn really ugly then I think we would all look back fondly on him and what he did for us.

Re: Nottingham Forest v West Ham United : match thread
All this talk of Moyes but this week the players need to give us a performance, they owe us that, regardless of how people feel about Moyes the players let themselves down last week and for the past month truth be told. Whatever the line up I'd install a new captain starting from this week, I'd love...

Re Osman, I guess only time will tell on whether we have made a mistake by not signing him when we had the chance. Lets just hope we didn't drop a b*ll*ck on this one!

Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!
For what it's worth I think most managers in his current position would be struggling right now. We have lost arguably our best and certainly our most creative player in Paqueta, Kudus and Aguerd have been away and only just returned from AFCON and probably need a little time to adjust back to premi...

Re: ✍ Welcome BACK to West Ham, Said Benrahma
I hope for everyone's sake that both Benny and Pablo's transfers are ratified. Not that we can afford to lose both of them without replacements but what good would they be being made to stay for another few months after this! The transfer window had ended up being handled shambolically by the club i...

Re: January transfer window
I'd be very disappointed and a little surprised if we were to let Benny, Pablo and (or) Cornet leave without signing at least one player to replace them, even if we sold one of those 3 and didn't replace them that's a risk if we get any injuries between now and the end of the season.

Re: Jesse Lingard
Like a turd that won't flush Exactly, can we just put this one to bed once and for all? The Lingard of 3 years ago is long gone and there is no way he would have anywhere near the same impact if we signed him today. Think Patrice Evra or Samir Nasri, a free agent who will simply come collect their ...

Re: January transfer window
How much is Bowen worth now? How about Kudus, Paqueta and even Coufal who cost £5mil… we don’t make profit on players because we don’t rely on turning players over to exist. It’s a good sign of where we are as club right now.. if a player performs and wins the fans over, we are of a big enough prof...

When was the last time we sold a player for more than we paid for them? It feels like we lose money on every single player we sell lately, Javier Hernandez, Jordan Hugill, Felipe Anderson, Sebastien Haller, Gianluca Scamacca to name but a few.

Re: January transfer window
Doesn't Alvarez also play as a centre back? So, perhaps with Zouma's injuries and Dinos inconsistent form Alvarez might start at the back meaning we could see all 4 (him, JWP, Phillips and Tom) start? Also no need to sign another centre back this window.
