Re: Have GSB delivered (albeit late)

Moyes has delivered not the board. The board only delivered Moyes because they panicked when the manager they wanted was failing. They didn't want him, they wanted a sexy foreign manager. We have some of the promised world class team, but that is only through Moyes and his team's coaching and a bit ...

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Norwich City: rescheduled match thread

The score flattered Norwich. We should have had a penalty and the offside was harsh. We also hit the post twice. One of those early shots goes in and it could have ended up being a cricket score IMO. It was great seeing Cresswell back, Bowen and Rice were both fantastic, Coufal seemed back old his o...

To be fair they had just won their cup final against a local team who are far more massive than they are.

Re: Tickets for Southampton

Filled in the form, got the tickets but they are in my nephews name. I can't see how this is going to work. Just checking vaccine passports is going to be a nightmare that will make the early season new ticket machine fiasco pale in comparison. Creating a crush to check vaccine status seems counteri...

Wouldn't mind betting the entire Christmas and New Year programme will now go the same way.
Probably, but they will almost certainly leave it until the last minute before letting us know before each game.

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Norwich City: match thread

My nephew just called the ticket office. They said it was fine for me to still use his tickets and to also forward me the link to the questionnaire when it comes. From chatting to them he thinks there will be COVID passport checks but the questionnaire will probably be forgotten about.

Re: ⚽ West Ham Utd v Norwich City: match thread

I saw the online Covid questionnaire for this game last night and it included a photo ID requirement. Not had that before. Given the Baronesses comments about us not living in North Korea re a football regulator, does anyone want to suggest why we need ID to watch a match in our designated seats? T...

Re: ⚽ Arsenal vs West Ham Utd: match thread

We've lost our starting back 4 and were up against a 12th man with that ref. I think some on here are being a bit harsh on the lads tonight. We were second best but who knows what might have happened if we had still had 11 players on the pitch?

16 years in January. I've just looked at my profile and it states my occupation as "nightclub promoter". I haven't done much of that in the last 12 years. Maybe I should change it.

Re: The Johnson Government 2019-2024

Our boy is coming home this weekend, we haven't seen him in 2 years because of the restrictions. We didn't get to see our other son last Christmas, even though he only lives in Shenfield (we dropped presents off and chatted outside their window for 20 minutes). My sons girlfriend didn't see her fami...

Re: Spurs face disruption after coronavirus outbreak in squad

And to add some granular detail to that, the Everton, Leeds and Brentford sides they faced were probably at their weakest points of the season due to injury. Leeds was basically a B team, Brentford obviously haven't been the same since Raya was crocked (unfortunately for us – he was the difference ...

Would be a good time to find out if Alese or Baptiste can make the grade. Got a feeling Moyes will use a back 5 a lot more until he can potentially get someone in
I'm guessing that at least one of them will start on Thursday, and it's possible that both will get game time.
