Re: Declan Rice

Declan Rice cares most about Declan Rice's bank account. He doesn't care about West Ham, he doesn't care about Arsenal. (He didn't care about Ireland). He is a great player and he makes the right noises when interviewed. But he is a professional and will go where is best for him. I hate Arsenal, I n...

Re: Sam's ear

I don't understand the praise he gets for getting us promoted. He had the biggest budget and we were the biggest club in the division. Yet we still only managed to scrape our way up through the play offs. Yes a day out at Wembley, but only because we were not as good as Southampton or the mighty Rea...

Re: Declan Rice

I hope Arsenal win nothing, their fans are unbearable as it is and will be worse if they actually have any success.
Obviously I hope Rice wins the Euros, but as long as he plays for that club I wish nothing but misfortune for him and them.

I never knew him and rarely visited his site. But living until 80, being divisive and still going to West Ham games. I would take that any day. RIP to him and thoughts to those he has left behind.

Take out Gordon, get a second yellow doing it. Paqueta sits out Brazil's next match, Gorden is injured for our game vs the Barcodes.

If Paquetta starts for Brazil and Bowen doesn't play for England I will be supporting Brazil tonight.

In that case it's a very professional response to a pretty shitty question.

https://www.skysports.com/football/video/19530/13098183/match-officials-micd-up-complicated-thomas-soucek-handball-var-checks-in-full The entire thing sounds chaotic. About 2:30 in one of them says to the ref "this is really difficult". That should have been the end of it. The official so...

Re: VAR 2023/24

The refs have too much power, and they seem to be a closed group who protect themselves and each other. Refs have now decided to ignore certain rules. People are no longer being booked for diving, but it is still the law, so somebody somewhere has decided that the refs will ignore the rules of the g...

That was weird, consistency is all we crave. Decide what the rules are and apply them fairly and evenly.

Re: West Ham United v Aston Villa: match thread (17.03.24)

I haven't seen the footage back and was right at the other end so can't comment on the decision being correct or not. But 5 minutes for a VAR decision is a joke. Surely if they can't decide in less than a minute it is not clear and obvious? Other than that feeling a bit let down as we were miles the...

Re: UEFA Europa League 2023-24

Liverpool get a relatively easy route to the final. We have one of the toughest draws, but we can do it. 2nd leg under the lights could be epic.
I am loving all the European football, I so want to see it continue.

COYRRFMI With Watkins and Mcginn out, being at home, and coming off last night, have to fancy our chances here to nick this 2-1. Let's ****ing have it West Ham :scarfer: I never knew they were out. Great news if the are. I hope we don't revert to the cautious 4defensive tactics. Surely we have prov...

Re: West Ham United -v- SC Freiburg - 2nd leg match thread - 14.03.24

I thought the atmosphere was decent tonight. Not up to Seville levels, but considering the early evening KO the crowd were well up for it and songs were catching between stands.
