Re: David Moyes' Claret and Blue Army!

Just to clarify. Moyes has achieved one of our most successful 4 years in terms of league position and also won a trophy. He's done that having to deal with Sullivan as owner. Some of the league games and the European nights have been some of the most enjoyable times I can remember. The bloke deserv...

Seemed like the ref was told at half time to stop reffing it objectively.

That little Russian hat wearing **** has to go though.
Next season, another pellegrini type manager, another relegation battle. And that little poison **** will line his pockets just like his grot mags did.

He's got what Carroll and Carlton suffered from. They can get fouled and the ref gives it the other way. There were some truly bizarre decisions tonight.

We needed that bit of luck they had for the second goal. *****.

Re: West Ham Utd v Bayer Leverkusen: match thread (2nd leg)

You have to say fair play to Alonso - looking at their starting 11 there’s no way at the beginning of the season you’d say they were gonna walk the bundesliga and be touted as one of the top teams in Europe. We’re still in with a shout.

Home game against Freiberg we went with a high press pretty full on until we got the second IIRC.

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

To me all this is moot. Moyes is the best manager we've had in decades because he's managed to get enough leverage through success on the pitch to manage Sullivan better than anyone else has. When he goes it doesn't really matter who comes in. It might be a "better"* style of play but it'l...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

Steidten, he would bring in the players, and find a coach who can bring the best out of them. If that coach left, he'd find another that utilised the players in the same way. It's supposed to avoid having to turn over squads every time a new manager joins. It's why Brighton went from Potter to de Z...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

Yes, because the manager will be a coach, not in charge of playing philosophy or transfers in and out. So of course its key that Steidten starts scouting now - some on here would be moaning if they were fueling the jet on July 1st .... Not disputing the knowledge but how can a coach not be in charg...

Said a million times on here. January killed us. We won every game in December. Sullivan wants us to be mediocre mid table. He only cares about his own pocket and that's where it's most efficient for him.

Re: Midweek Games April 9-11

KdB takes a free kick ball goes to far post, City player should have done better but as the ball goes across the goal, Luton player has Haaland's shirt so he can't get to the ball. no VAR review that they mention anyway. to be fair ref couldn't maybe see it. bit like Antonio's one from Thursday. joking aside, I'll die on the hill that, even more than with haller, the way we misused scamacca was borderline criminal.
We didn’t misuse him, he didn’t want to be here and stunk the place out.
