Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

To me all this is moot. Moyes is the best manager we've had in decades because he's managed to get enough leverage through success on the pitch to manage Sullivan better than anyone else has. When he goes it doesn't really matter who comes in. It might be a "better"* style of play but it'l...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

Steidten, he would bring in the players, and find a coach who can bring the best out of them. If that coach left, he'd find another that utilised the players in the same way. It's supposed to avoid having to turn over squads every time a new manager joins. It's why Brighton went from Potter to de Z...

Re: The Summer Transfer Thread 2024

Yes, because the manager will be a coach, not in charge of playing philosophy or transfers in and out. So of course its key that Steidten starts scouting now - some on here would be moaning if they were fueling the jet on July 1st .... Not disputing the knowledge but how can a coach not be in charg...

Said a million times on here. January killed us. We won every game in December. Sullivan wants us to be mediocre mid table. He only cares about his own pocket and that's where it's most efficient for him.

Re: Midweek Games April 9-11

KdB takes a free kick ball goes to far post, City player should have done better but as the ball goes across the goal, Luton player has Haaland's shirt so he can't get to the ball. no VAR review that they mention anyway. to be fair ref couldn't maybe see it. bit like Antonio's one from Thursday. And yet the media portray them as the plucky underdog reaching for the stars - having played sooo many games due to their courageous (crap) CL campaign. ****ing sovereign wealth funded cheats.

joking aside, I'll die on the hill that, even more than with haller, the way we misused scamacca was borderline criminal.

Usually, I'm shouting at the tv for Moyes to make a change. This time I couldn't believe he made those subs. Why did he take off Mav?? Did I miss something? Thought that he was the our second best player on the pitch next to Fab. He should have left it as it was for once. I think they don't score t...

Yeah something not right. Seemed to go AWOL before afcon and when he was dropped. Could just be injuries but still.
