Re: West Ham United v Stoke City: Match Thread
Wow.... just wow That until the subs we were absolute defensive dogshit Arnautovic was isolated on his own just as he was against Chelsea Until they scored, it was a borefest... then dinosaur Dave hits the panic button and it got a bit more interesting Agree with burnley... first half was tough bec...

Re: West Ham United v Stoke City: Match Thread
Special mention to nobes today who absolutely bossed it and was spraying it all over the gaff.
Also big angelo and fernandes who could have got eaten alive in there, much improved. Think with a run in the side he could be a very good cm

Re: West Ham United v Stoke City: Match Thread
Massive goal from andy. What i dont get is we were set up to batter them but played one striker whos more a number 10... fullbacks pushed up high line and two deadly strikers on the bench. This meant short corners, no one to hit on free kicks. No wonder they were happy to give away 6 free kicks in t...

Re: Chelsea v West Ham United: Match Thread
Its not that complicated. If any midfielder needs to be moved on it certainly isn't Mark Noble
WTF has Kouyate got to do with my post, some are clueless on here, and most certainly I am not your mate.

Re: Chelsea v West Ham United: Match Thread
We were terrible first half and I hate the way Moyes sets up. Why was every player lacking intensity and intent today? It was a terrific point that i'll take all day but we were very fortunate. Hart finally had a good game and we were also unlucky with the pen. Surprised so many of you are saying i...

Re: Chelsea v West Ham United: Match Thread
Noble has many attributes, he gets in good positions and defensively sets himself up well. However he's finished as a premier league top quality midfielder and needs to be moved on in the summer. Unfortunately no pace and we struggle to get the ball forward quickly when he's in possession. He gives...

Re: West ham United v Tottenham Hotspur: Match Thread
Slav knows how to set us up against this mob (and liverpool oddly) I think we've generally been the better side in match ups1 against them in recent years, other than the 1-4 I fancy a result if we have our finishing boots on. Our biggest obstacle will be the referee. Guaranteed there is a pen or 2 ...

My old man was involved with some work with him (not porn/dildos)
Said he was an absolute reptile of a human being. Absolutely despises him.
Make of it what you will

Re: Andy Carroll
I'm happy he's not training much. Probably what he's needed all along.
He's hardly been holding back in games has he? Let them continue doing what they are doing and if they can get him through the next few months we might just have the right formula for him

Re: Swansea vs West Ham: match thread
If antonio could play football he would be at a top 4 side
Loads of clubs haven't fancied him over the last few years.
Needs to play a more attacking role. Getting a bit exposed technically as a wing back.
Would mould him into a striker myself.

To be fair, the atmosphere at Upton Park (bar final season) was always shocking against the **** teams.
As it is at most grounds, only the bigger games have good atmospheres these days

Re: Olympic Stadium Discussion and Questions
Loved it. Felt more like home to me than Upton Park. I haven't felt a connection to that area for a while. Whereas I grew up not far from stratford and all my mates still live round that area I think they did a good job of making it feel more like a west ham ground. Was expecting to hate it but was ...

I think that's fine. Its not the amount of money but how you spend it. Look at Newcastle!
