Re: Blue cards
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2024/02/08/blue-cards-to-be-introduced-for-football-sin-bins/ Am sure I wasn't the only one on Sunday who noted Man U "refusing" to take a free-kick until Martinez's '30-sec injury time-out' had elapsed? How much worse will it be for a 10-min player sh...

Milking the family connection to Vancouver -- accommodation sorted within walking distance of stadium, just hoping that the fixtures allocated are sufficiently low-profile that tickets won't be an issue

Spoke to a lad from our TO at the turnstiles in Athens, said we're expecting around 300-500 tickets, and that the club won't be putting on any transport from Belgrade to Backa Topola. Not sure why they haven't announced this yet, possibly pushing for a few more first. Not doubting thats what you we...

Re: Olympiakos away
The bad news was the cost of the coach and their refusal to allow supporters to use any onboard toilets. The bus was £22 return, a taxi was 20 euros one way - I know this as we were staying down in Piraeus, and had to get a cab back there after getting the bus to the drop off place. You were robbed ...

Re: Olympiakos away
I am trying very hard to be calm & rational about this (and failing.........) 1. We too booked hotels in Piraeus for ease of access to stadium. When exactly did WH become aware of this travel imposition? And why no mention of it until after sales have commenced?? 2. Are WH going to treat Olympia...

When we go out and I have steak I do begrudge the cost I mean I used to go meat market and could cut some fantastic sirloin worked out £4 , add some chips and mushrooms looking £6 at most plus cooking £7? Restaurants your looking £20 plus for the same thing Makes sense on the "rule of thirds&q...

Ain't that the truth, especially with GKs -- yellow card = licence to time-waste for remainder of matchrigoberts song wrote: ↑Fri Jul 28, 2023 5:17 pm Spk to both captains before the start and tell them any time wasting gets a yellow.
Refs seem reluctant to follow up the first yellow with a second yellow.

Re: Away Tickets Thread - New Season, we go again.
if your on the away scheme, might pay to check your card details on the online ticket thingy, as mine had no card registered [not done by me] what with cherries going out tomorrow Good advice - having changed banks earlier in the the summer I logged-in to check I'd updated with new card details. As...

Apologies if already posted. CPR administered for a considerable time by St John's awaiting LAS. Hope the geezer pulled through? Yes he did - stable in Barts, but gutted that he can't now go to Alkmaar next week. Wife & son were with him in stadium and are hugely grateful to fan who started CPR...

I'm driving up for the Manc game tomorrow, but i've got pressure on not to drive back the same night with just me and the girls in the car due to tiredness etc. Was thinking of booking one of the Premier Inns near the airport to put head down for a few hours and then get going again early doors. Nice e-mail from those friendly friendly people at the club today telling me that as an away STH my likely selected part of the ground for Man City away would be all e-ticket. In other words, opt out individually, rather than opt in. With the game likely to change date, it will be interesting to se...

Re: Away Tickets Thread - Over Land and Sea
Our board have agreed this. 100%. And S&B couldn't give a toss how many of the 9k seats are West Ham & how many are returned for the Mancs to sell to tourists, West Ham get 45% of the gate regardless. This whole idea that you're expected to buy (non- returnable, non-refundable) tickets with...
